Viscose in summer: is it comfortable to wear? What to wear in the heat: Natural fabrics, the right colors and things What clothes are not hot in summer

– shopping for summer clothes is a special pleasure. But sometimes a new thing is worn once and settles in the depths of the closet forever - the style seems to be fashionable and fits perfectly, but for some reason you don’t want to wear it at all... Why does this happen? Because the material from which this thing is made may be completely unsuitable for summer - hot weather dictates its conditions.

So, the most dangerous enemy in summer heat– synthetics.

Bright, light and beautiful things from synthetic materials not such a safe thing. Synthetics, like a shell, covers the skin, not allowing it to breathe. This is especially true for things that fit tightly to the body - dresses, tight-fitting blouses, shirts. In summer, the “water cycle in the body” occurs very actively and the sweat released by the body when moving should also actively evaporate. Synthetic clothing does not allow moisture to pass through and, thus, we are forced to feel uncomfortable all day long.

Summer is a time of movement and freedom. For only three months a year we can afford not to wrap ourselves in several layers and wear what we want. But in order to feel comfortable and comfortable even in the hottest weather, you need to choose clothes from the “right” fabrics. And lightweight and practical synthetics will come in handy in the cool fall.

Summer in our latitudes never comes according to the calendar: it’s hot collapses suddenly, and it is still unclear how a city dweller can comfortably dress at +30 (or higher). On unbearably hot days, the first thing you think about is what to do in the evening and which drink will cool down faster, and the need to put something on yourself seems like a mockery. And yet, if you approach the problem thoughtfully once, you will protect yourself from overheating and the problems that accompany it. We remind you what to look for when choosing clothes in summer and how to look appropriate even in the hottest weather.

Materials

We will not tire of repeating: pay attention to the composition of the fabric - this is especially important in the summer. A cotton shirt turns out to be much nicer, it would seem. summer dress sleeveless, but made of polyester. Supporters of natural fabrics should pay attention to linen and cotton - items made from them hardly wrinkle and are perfect for a hot day. Contrary to the opinion that you can survive in +30 only in clothes made from natural fabrics, pay attention to viscose. Items made from this material are more durable and look like new longer, behave perfectly in the wash, and, importantly, breathe well.

Form

In terms of uniform, you should focus on loose-fitting items - trousers made of light fabric or a floor-length dress will make staying in the sun much more pleasant. You should give up your favorite jeans: there will be enough reasons to wear them at other times of the year; in the heat, it’s unbearably hot in thick jeans. Fortunately, there are many summer ones: culottes, Bermuda shorts, sports trousers, as well as wide pajama pants.

Don't shy away from the ubiquitous slip dresses, consider different options skirts and shorts with lace inserts and finally buy a pajama suit - the ideal option for a loose, light outfit for the summer. T-shirts with thin straps or with dropped shoulders (again, made of lightweight materials and a loose fit) will perfectly complement the look.

In the heat, many people try to wear as much as possible less clothes and choose things that reveal the body as much as possible. And in general, for your health, if you want and like it so much - why not, the main thing is not to forget about the cream with SPF. Another thing is that in a long and loose tunic dress or floor-length skirt made of viscose or silk, you will most likely be more comfortable and cooler than in a tiny sundress with straps.

Lingerie

In 30-degree heat, wearing a bodice with thick cups, heavy push up and abundant decor is, frankly speaking, a bit difficult. In certain cases, underwear can serve as an element of the look, but for such cases there are more comfortable options without tight cups. In general, the main characteristic for “summer” underwear is a soft cup of the bodice, which will provide freedom of movement. It is also worth taking a closer look at sports options, bralette models and other bras without padding. Read more about different types we already have bodices. And of course, don’t forget about the existence of such a wonderful option as no bra - as they say, freedom for parrots!

Color

Summer is the main season for all kinds of white and light outfits (a school physics textbook will help answer the question “why?”). When the hand reaches out to dark palette, remember that, most likely, in the remaining nine months, things of this particular range will prevail in your everyday wardrobe. Any variations of ocher and burgundy can be replaced with khaki or sand, dark blue is easily inferior to light blue, and the absolute king summer period - white. If it is difficult for you to part with black, do not choose tops, shirts, blouses of this color - wear a slip dress, shorts or a miniskirt.

Shoes and socks

When choosing summer shoes, the main criterion is probably comfort. Of course, it is important at any time of the year, but especially in the heat. You will most likely be walking around the city or park, shops or museum, so choose sandals, sandals and ballet flats, no matter how much you like sneakers - open shoes will be cooler. When it comes to heels, the fashion world today is loyal and kind to our feet: with a low brick heel, you can safely go on a long walk, and right after it - to a party. Another great option is espadrilles, with or without ties, and don't forget about gladiator sandals.

If you can’t imagine your life without sneakers, choose breathable, lightweight options. Of course, they will need socks, and they should definitely be made from natural materials. Short options are for those who don’t like socks peeking out from under their sneakers. Otherwise, you can limit yourself to plain ones, or you can amuse passers-by with various tropical prints and inscriptions.

Hats

Don't neglect a Panama hat or a cap when leaving home in the thick of it. Perhaps the most summer option headdress - boater, a hard-shaped straw hat with narrow straight brims. Light, light and universal in color, it will be appropriate both in the city and on the beach. You can also take a closer look at various bandanas, Panama hats, classic Sinatra-shaped hats, fedoras and wide-brimmed options. The main rule here is, as in clothing, to maintain color balance, namely, not to inadvertently bring the sun onto your head by buying a hat that is too dark shade, and also choose lightweight materials such as straw or cotton.

It’s quite easy to fit a hat into an everyday urban look: a combination with linen style can be found at The Row, military and casual options at Greg Lauren, and Luisa Beccaria shows how to wear a hat with flowing dresses. Bright options More appropriate on the beach than in the city. Therefore, the range depends on the specifics of summer entertainment. If your goal is to save your face from sunburn, you can take a closer look at visors. It is better that the visor itself is made of a cold-colored material - this way it will heat up less from the sun.

Every morning I wake up to bright sunshine! And in my head I thought: “Hurry to the beach! Hurry up and swim! In summer the world becomes brighter!”

As some weather forecasters predicted, summer will come this year not gradually, but all at once, that is, suddenly.

Already at the beginning of May, people will change their warm clothes for summer ones. And apparently they were right.

Now in most of our country the air temperature exceeds 20 degrees Celsius, and in some Russian settlements the thermometer even goes beyond 30.

What kind of summer awaits us in 2019?

Of course, many are interested in the question: “What kind of summer will it be this year - hot, dry, or, conversely, cool and humid, or will it just be warm?” Someone wants to know this in order to understand what kind of harvest they can expect, someone is thinking about what clothes should be purchased, and for others it is important to know about this in order to take time off from work in the most favorable weather.

Forecasters' weather forecasts for the summer of 2019 differ somewhat. Some argue that summer in Russia will not be hot and even rainy. Drought and forest fires threaten only the south of Russia.

In general, this summer in our country will be warm, but not very long. This means that throughout the summer the average monthly air temperature will be slightly higher than the climate norm. A short summer It will be because, according to some meteorologists, that already in August in the central regions of Russia, as well as in the north of the country, it will become somewhat cool: there will be frequent rains and the cold wind will increase.

But weather forecasters are reassuring that the weather in August will at times change to warm. True, the end of August will be cold, even colder than the beginning of this month and its middle. However, in the south of the country August will be warm, but there may be heavy rains. Somewhere until mid-September there will be sunny, warm weather, unless, of course, short-term rains and thunderstorms are taken into account.

In the Urals, according to weather forecasters, in June it will be dry and practically without precipitation, in July it will still be warm and even hot - the thermometer will rise to 28 degrees, however, the heat will alternate with showers and thunderstorms. In August it will be warm there, but it will rain periodically.

According to other forecasters, the summer of 2019 in our country will be extremely dry, which could leave Russia even without a harvest. Considering that they are also predicting an economic crisis for the country, the picture being drawn is depressing: it’s time to run to buy cereals and stock up on crackers.

What will summer 2019 be like in Crimea?

The continental and maritime climate prevailing in Crimea guarantees a comfortable summer.

The air will warm up during the day to an average of 26 0 C, Water 23 0 C. Mild and warm weather will allow you to relax comfortably this summer and spend your vacation here.

The CenterGeology company began its work on the peninsula. At the end of 2014 they launched simple work for drilling wells in Crimea, as well as all related work: arrangement of wells, organization of water filtration. Having your own source of water is now a particularly pressing issue.

However, people are people, and nature itself makes its own adjustments without asking anyone. Time will tell what the summer will be like.

The main condition for surviving in the heat is to wear natural, breathable and lightweight fabrics. In polyester you will be welded instantly. We are not talking, of course, about sports performance items, but you won’t be walking around the city in these, will you?

Everything that concerns fabrics applies equally to jackets, shirts, and trousers. Ideal materials for summer are linen and light cotton. Wool will do if it is the so-called tropical wool - very thin and light wool fabric. And, of course, no tweed or flannel. Linen is best in hot weather, but it has one drawback - it wrinkles very much. Therefore, if you are not ready to constantly wear folds, then mixed fabrics are suitable for you - linen mixed with cotton. It's not hot in them, and they look a little more decent.

Specific summer fabrics are madras and seersucker. Both fabrics originate from India. Madras is a multi-colored fabric, often sewn from scraps, seersucker is a crinkled fabric with stripes. Both materials are great for surviving the heat. A madras jacket is a typical American preppy item, and a seersucker suit is a great summer dress option for an outdoor wedding, for example.
