Eyelash hair oil. The best oils for eyelash health and growth. Oil for strengthening eyelashes

Building and perm eyelashes in salons, incredible volume and length with the help of a miracle mascara...

Every year the beauty industry offers more and more new means to express the look of beautiful ladies.

Ophthalmologists are sounding the alarm: cosmetologists promise to provide amazing length and thickness of eyelashes with the help of medications (forgetting to mention the extensive list side effects and contraindications).

Let's think: is it worth investing a lot of money in services that are harmful to health?

Moreover, there is a large number of reliable, time-tested means. Created by nature, they are designed to make eyelashes not only beautiful, but also healthy.

We are talking about vegetable oils.

We’ll tell skeptics right away: any oil plant origin has a positive effect on eyelash growth. Why? Let's figure it out.

Eyelashes are the same hair. Only shorter, denser and tougher ones. Their growth occurs due to cell division of the bulb. As soon as the root of the new hair matures, the old one falls out. This one lasts natural process all life.

Like hair, eyelashes weaken, fade, and thin over time. This usually happens due to a lack of root nutrition and an aggressive environment.

Masks, applications, massage using oils:

  • stimulate hair follicles;
  • nourish eyelids and eyelashes with vitamins, minerals and unsaturated fatty acids;
  • help the formation of new cells.

As a result, eyelash growth accelerates. They become thicker and take on a healthy appearance.

Popular oils

Which oil is better?

All products obtained from oily plant raw materials are similar in chemical composition. They are distinguished by a large number of polyunsaturated acids, vitamins, and biologically active microelements. The benefits of any component are beyond doubt.

There are several leaders who have proven their ability to accelerate growth over many years.

Castor

Distant ancestors used the unpleasant-tasting castor bean product as a universal remedy for all diseases.

Russian beauties generously lubricated their eyelashes, which is why they grew quickly and were especially thick, fluffy and soft.

The reason for this effect is the large percentage ricinoleic acid (almost 90%), which activates the bulb and restores the structure of each hair.

It is especially effective after a salon eyelash extension procedure, as it helps restore their damaged structure.

Benefits of burdock oil:

Almond

Due to its pleasant aroma and light structure, a cold-pressed product from bitter almond seeds is often used in compositions with castor and burdock oils.

It is also effective as an independent means for the growth and quality of eyelashes. The composition contains a large amount of vitamins E (24 mg per 100 g of almonds) and B2 (0.65 mg). It is with their deficiency that hairs become dull, brittle, and growth slows down.

Products obtained from oilseed plant materials have a beneficial effect on eyelash growth.

Peach, wheat germ or grape seed oils are balanced in the content of vitamins, polyunsaturated fatty acids, and biologically active minerals.

How to apply it to the eyes correctly?

This is not an idle question. The highest quality and most expensive oil that gets into the eyes can cause swelling of the eyelids and irritation of the mucous membrane.

The tool you can choose from is:

  • cotton ear swab;
  • mascara brush;
  • eyeliner brush.
Before the procedure, do not forget to remove makeup from your face. Instead of water, it is useful to use almond or peach oil.

Dip a cotton swab in oil and carefully move from the middle to the tips of the eyelashes. You don’t need to take too much liquid; it shouldn’t drip from the stick.

An old mascara wand can be a good option, as long as you apply the oil with extra care. A mandatory requirement is a soft bristle structure. Plastic or hard rubber will not be able to hold the liquid consistency of the oil. It will spread and fit poorly on the eyelashes. There is a high risk of contact with eyes.

You can use a cosmetic brush to line the eye contour. A thin, dense brush with beveled bristles captures a small amount of oil. It is convenient to distribute it along the length of the eyelashes. The tool must be chosen with natural bristles.

A cotton swab is a disposable tool and cannot be reused. The brush and brush should be washed thoroughly before each use and after the procedure.

Eyelashes can be smeared without the use of auxiliary products. Wash your hands thoroughly, dip a large and forefinger and gently wipe the hairs.

It should be remembered that you will not be able to get an instant result.

There will be no pronounced effect if you do the procedure occasionally.

Having decided to please yourself with beautiful long eyelashes, you need to tune in to a daily cosmetic session. The full course is one month.

Only after regular use of oils will eyelashes begin to recover and grow.

Vegetable oils are usually well accepted by any skin type. The problem may arise due to
individual intolerance to a particular drug. To avoid any trouble, you should do a test before the first use.

Apply a small amount to the skin of your hand. If after 30 minutes no itching, rash or other unpleasant sensations appear, you can safely proceed to the cosmetic session.

Side effects occur more often due to improper use. Swelling of the eyelids and allergic reactions can be avoided if you know a number of rules.

  • Do not leave the oil overnight. Even the most neutral substance, if it comes into contact with the eyes, can provoke the development of inflammation. It is better to apply in the evening and remove before going to bed.
  • Observe the procedure time. For castor, burdock and mixtures with them, the session should not exceed 30 minutes. Almond, olive, peach can be kept for several hours.
  • It is advisable to warm the oil a little before use. It will lie down and be absorbed better.
At the end of the procedure, it is better not to wash off the oil. Blot leftovers cotton pad.

Growth oils can be applied individually. Masks and massage will give the best effect.

Mask of castor (or burdock) oil, aloe juice and vitaminA

Vitamin A (retinol) slows down the aging process of cells and actively participates in the formation of new ones, and activates the metabolic process. Thanks to retinol, eyelashes acquire a healthy shine and natural volume. It enhances the effect of castor oil, which itself is absent.

Aloe juice activates dormant hair follicles, which accelerates hair growth.

For the mask, mix oil and juice in equal proportions, add a few drops of vitamin.

Nourishing vitamin mask

For it you will need 3 drops of vitamins A, E, a teaspoon of fish oil and the same amount of vegetable oil (olive, flaxseed, burdock). Mix all ingredients and apply to eyelashes.

The presence of vitamin E in the composition makes the mask one of the best in the fight for eyelash length. Tocopherol actively nourishes hair follicles by improving blood circulation. Vitamin E restores brittle eyelashes and prevents their loss. Protects against exposure to ultraviolet rays.

Carrot juice mask

Take castor, sea buckthorn, almond (or peach) oils in equal quantities. Add carrot juice. A good addition would be parsley juice.

The juice must be squeezed out immediately before use.

Mask with vitamins and tea leaves

Mix castor or burdock oil, strong tea leaves, vitamins A and E.

This cocktail not only helps rapid growth eyelashes, but also gives them a rich color.

Eyelash massage

Any vegetable oil is suitable for the procedure. It should be slightly warmed up, a few drops of vitamins and a little fish oil should be added. It should be applied on both sides.

Makes you feel light in a few minutes in a circular motion eyelid massage (lower to the inner corner of the eye, upper to the outer).

If the mask must be washed off, it is better to use a decoction of herbs rather than water. Chamomile, cornflower and sage are considered the most beneficial for eyelashes.

What women say

Maria. I've been making masks for a year now. I apply it for a month, take a month off. Eyelashes have grown noticeably. Stopped falling out. I alternate castor and burdock, the most budget option.

Olga. I mix castor oil with almond oil and smear it on everything: eyelashes, nails, hands. Highly recommend. Now I’m not ashamed to call my short, dull brushes eyelashes: fluffy, soft, and have grown noticeably.

Svetlana. For two months I have been applying a mixture of olive, castor and linseed oils to my eyelashes. At first I made a big mistake: I left it overnight. I didn’t go to work in the morning: there were slits instead of eyes. I immediately wised up, and now I wash it off in an hour. I haven’t noticed much growth yet, but my eyelashes have become thicker and darker.

Where to go for healing oils

Burdock and castor oil can be bought at the pharmacy closest to your home. The price starts from 25 rubles. for 100 ml. Manufacturers offer oils already enriched with vitamins A and E.

There is no need to be afraid of fakes. Fraudsters are not interested in this product.

Olive oil is healthy if it is natural, cold pressed. It is worth studying the label; it should not contain other herbal ingredients. They are sold in supermarkets and can be ordered in online stores. The price range is wide: on average from 700 to 1500 rubles. for half a liter.

Olive oil cold-pressed natural products are never packaged in a plastic container. Use only glass bottles or metal tubes.

The inscriptions on the bottles “Special for children” are an advertising ploy that increases the price.

You should also not buy healing liquid in ceramic vessels. Only the price will increase, but not the quality of the product.

Cold-pressed flaxseed is sold in pharmacies for an average of 120-140 rubles (250 ml). They offer oil made in the USA for 600-800 rubles, and if it is organic, then it’s worth paying more!

Pharmacies offer a wide selection of oils for eyelash growth at affordable prices: peach from 40 rubles per 100 ml, almond 60 - 80 rubles. for 50 ml, wheat germ oil from 170 rubles for 100 ml.

Everyone decides for themselves which one is better to choose. If you don’t forget about daily care, the dream of having long, thick, healthy eyelashes can become a reality in just a month.

Eyelash care at home:

Oil is The best way make your eyelashes lush, long and healthy without constantly spending on salon treatments. But which product is better to choose?

Which oil is better?

Any essential oil in its pure form can harm eyelashes. But when mixed with various ingredients, this remedy gains its strength.

The complementary component is selected depending on what effect a woman expects from using the oil.

You can only determine which product is better by trying it.

Strengthening the roots

For this purpose, the following oils are widely used:

  1. Castor. This ingredient effectively thickens hairs, enhances their growth and makes them darker for a fairly low cost. Among the disadvantages of castor oil are its peculiar odor, thickness, persistence and possible irritation if it gets into the eyes.
  2. Coconut. The oil has a pleasant aroma, gives shine to eyelashes and strengthens hair follicles. You need to purchase it with extreme caution, as the preservatives included in the composition can harm the hairs.
  3. Linen. This cold-pressed oil contains a large amount of vitamins (F, A, B, E, K) and microelements that can regenerate even the most damaged hairs, making their shape better and neater. The only drawback of this component is its rather pungent and unpleasant odor.
  4. Argan. This oil perfectly moisturizes eyelashes, and the fatty acids present in the composition have a beneficial effect on hair follicles and eyelid skin.

Increased eyelash growth

To accelerate hair growth, the following components are best suited:

  1. Fish fat. A component with a composition rich in nutrients available for purchase. Fish oil makes hair thicker and stronger, but, like many other medicinal products, it has a strong, peculiar odor.
  2. Rosemary oil. It can trigger the growth of all “dormant” bulbs and give the eyelashes shine. But when applied, careless movement can cause burns to the skin around the eyes.
  3. Cinnamon oil. This aromatic product is considered the most effective for eyelash growth. But if used incorrectly, the product can cause a burn. And to avoid a sudden reaction of the body to a cosmetic product, it is better to first conduct an allergy test on the bend of the elbow.

Hair strengthening

The following oils will help make eyelashes stronger and prevent them from becoming brittle:

  1. Olive, cold pressed. The product contains a large amount of vitamins (A, E, D) and microelements, has a long shelf life and is easy to apply. Finding such high-quality oil is quite difficult, but still possible. It can make eyelashes thicker and thicker, their shape better, as it has a growth-stimulating effect.
  2. Sea buckthorn. Thickens and nourishes eyelashes, strengthens bulbs, makes them shiny and moisturized. When choosing this product, you need to be more careful so as not to encounter a fake. It is better to purchase it in pharmacies.
  3. Geraniums. The product restores the structure of the hairs, nourishes their roots, gives them a natural shine and fights inflammatory processes. Unfortunately, finding the product in pharmacies is incredibly difficult.
  4. Camphor. Macro- and microelements in the product effectively nourish and restore the hair structure. Camphor oil is a proven remedy that combats eyelash loss. It works best in combination with burdock or castor oil.
  5. Almond. The vitamins, proteins, amino acids and glycerides it contains make your eyelashes elastic and shiny. Hairs are rejuvenated and their growth increases. And the healing formula applied to the eyelid nourishes the skin and awakens the “sleeping” bulbs. Only women with oily skin types should avoid this product. Almond oil is present in almost all medicinal professional cosmetics for eyelashes.

Effect of constant use

It is impossible to answer the question of which oil for eyelashes is better, but it can be argued that when regular use funds, the effect will be as follows:

  • the hairs will become denser and their color more saturated;
  • eyelashes will look thicker, shiny and well-groomed;
  • reduce fragility;
  • the look will become much more expressive.

Thanks to the oils, a thin protective film is formed on the hairs, which visually makes the eyelashes larger. Which oil is better? Any will be useful if used correctly.

Price

When you decide to buy eyelash oil, you need to decide which one is best to choose. The price of the product always directly depends on the composition. If the component is not rare (orange, burdock, castor bean), then its cost should be low.

The essence of the cosmetics market is that any expensive product always has a cheap equivalent. So, for example, you can safely replace Argan oil with an alternative from Macadamia, saving an average of 250 rubles.

Which eyelash growth product is better to choose?

The main problem for most women is decreased thickness and fragility of eyelashes. The occurrence of these factors directly depends on the environment, the cosmetics used, extension procedures and diseases of the body. The hairs become fragile and their structure becomes porous. When used correctly, the remedy allows you to restore the health of your eyelashes, improve their shape and start the growth of new hairs.

In addition to the previously mentioned means for eyelash growth, the following oils are considered the most useful:

  1. Burdock. It contains proteins, tannins, minerals and natural inulin, which compact the hair scales, holding them together as much as possible. Another miraculous property of burdock oil is its fight against toxins, due to which the skin around the eyes becomes healthier. There is practically no allergy to it, but it is still worth doing a test on the bend of your elbow.
  2. Peach. This hypoallergenic product with a pleasant aroma not only restores damaged hair, but also prevents hair loss. Masks using this oil should be applied not only to eyelashes, but also to the skin of the eyelids, because it has a rejuvenating and anti-fatigue effect.
  3. Wheat germ. This thick consistency product is easy to apply to eyelashes and is a rich source of vitamins.
  4. Jojoba. The product, rich in amino acids and proteins, is used in combination with other ingredients. It carefully strengthens cuticles, moisturizes and protects eyelashes. Analogs this oil simply doesn't exist.

It is impossible to say unequivocally which oil is better, since the product has an individual effect on different organisms.

Complex means

When choosing a branded eyelash oil, you can find out which is better from user reviews. Below are the most famous cosmetics brands. It is impossible to say unequivocally which one is better, since many are highly effective, but are quite allergic, and some are hypoallergenic, but show results only months after regular use.

Lor

The product of the company Lor is very popular, which takes into account all the needs of women and offers them three types of products. Nourishing oil is intended to strengthen hair follicles and restore hair structure, preventive oil - for eyelash growth and healthy eyelid skin, toning oil - to add color.

Vereya

The next most popular product is the Vereya brand. The product contains grape seeds, burdock extract, castor, almond, rose and wheat germ oils. This product can be safely used to remove eye makeup while nourishing and restoring eyelashes. To do this, just apply it to your hair for just 5 minutes.

D.N.C.

The product contains castor and sea buckthorn oil with vitamins B5 and A. The results from using this product will be noticeable within a couple of weeks. The hairs become stronger, the “sleeping” bulbs awaken, the thickness and shine of the eyelashes increases.

The product is easy to apply thanks to its consistency and curved brush. Before going to bed, according to users' recommendations, the oil should be washed off, otherwise in the morning you may encounter the phenomenon of oily eyelashes.

Elma

This is the best oil for eyelashes that stimulates their growth. With regular use, the “dormant” bulbs are activated, the hairs become more elastic and shiny, and an additional row of eyelashes appears.

Due to this property, a “building effect” is created. The product has a relatively low cost, which is an extra plus in its favor.

When choosing eyelash oil, you need to know which one is best for an individual woman, what is included in its composition and whether there are any contraindications. But it’s better to draw conclusions after using several products.

Article verified by beauty blogger. @lil4olga, on Instagram since 2016.

Every girl dreams of being the owner of fluffy long eyelashes. Unfortunately, nature has not endowed everyone with such wealth. Nowadays, making eyelashes more attractive is not so difficult; there are many mascaras for this; extensions will also help in this matter. However, such methods have only a temporary effect. Terms of use

It is most convenient to apply oil to eyelashes using a regular mascara brush. It must be thoroughly washed with any soap, then wiped with alcohol and finally rinsed thoroughly under running water.

An empty mascara tube can also come in handy - it’s very convenient to store oil in it. It, like the brush, must be thoroughly washed, and then the product must be poured into it using a regular syringe.

It is convenient to apply thick oils only with your fingers, in which case the excess liquid will remain on the skin and will not cause discomfort. To do this, simply dip your clean index and thumb and rub the product into your hair.

In order for oil products to bring maximum benefit and not cause harm, you should follow a few simple rules:

  • Do not allow oil to come into contact with the mucous membranes of the eyes, as this can lead to severe irritation and swelling. To avoid such problems, always remove excess liquid from the brush and apply it a little further from the roots of the lashes.
  • When warm, oils have a more pronounced effect. Therefore, before using, it is advisable to heat them to approximately 34 degrees; this is best done in a water bath.
  • Perform eyelash manipulations in the evening. If you do oil mask in the morning, the mascara will not adhere to the hairs properly.
  • Positive results can only be achieved with regular use of oil masks. They should be applied daily, once a day for 20-30 days. Then you must take a break for 7-14 days. This will give the eyelashes a chance to rest and prevent them from getting used to the biologically active components.
  • It is not recommended to leave any oils on the eyelashes for a long time, as this can lead to swelling of the eyelids, which will then be very difficult to eliminate. For this reason, they should not be left overnight. For those who have never used oil for eyelash growth for the first time, it is recommended to leave it for only 5 minutes. If there is no negative reaction, you can gradually increase the exposure time of the product. The optimal time is 30-60 minutes.
  • It is best to remove oil from eyelashes using a dry cotton pad, and there is no need to wash your face afterwards. You should also refrain from soap, foams and washing gels.

When choosing oil, be sure to take into account that it can cause an allergic reaction. In order to exclude Negative consequences Before using the product, apply it to the inner elbow or wrist and observe the skin reaction for 12 hours. If there is no redness, rash, itching, etc. the oil suits you, so you can safely apply it to your eyelashes.

  • And most importantly: never use essential oils for eyelash growth in its purest form. This can cause serious skin damage and burns. Add esters to your cream or mix with base oils.

What is the best essential oil? Perhaps these are esters of rose and ylang-ylang. Just a few drops of these products will help strengthen your eyelashes and scalp hair.

Let us recall that for positive result It is important that the oil for eyelash growth is of high quality and fresh.

Eyelashes and decorative cosmetics

Mascara and eyeliners are designed to enhance the beauty of your eyes. But any cosmetic product must be carefully selected.

To prevent mascara from spoiling your own eyelashes, pay attention to the composition. A good product will not cause harm. It is desirable that the composition be as natural as possible. The label should indicate that this product is suitable for sensitive eyes. This trick will protect your eyes from irritation and discomfort.

It is necessary to remove eye makeup using special cleansers. This could be milk, micellar water, tonic. Choose products for sensitive skin. A three-phase makeup remover has proven itself well. It gently removes mascara and does not cause irritation. Good facilities They have a higher cost, but they last a long time. In addition, you can remove makeup using a regular plant extract (olive, flaxseed, sunflower) or baby cream. These products are suitable for any skin type and do not irritate the mucous membrane of the eyes.

A person's eyelashes are regularly renewed. If you notice that your eyelashes have become brittle and hard, and when you remove makeup, tufts of eyelashes remain on the cotton pad, then this is a signal to consult a doctor. Perhaps the body lacks calcium and iron.

All of the above remedies really work. And you will undoubtedly see the effect of using them. In addition to cleansing, natural remedies may promote eyelash growth. Therefore, it is most profitable to use them. Which oil is the best for eyelash growth? Only you yourself can definitely answer this question. Try, experiment, and one day one of the oils may suit you better than the others.

Before writing this review, I spent a long time trying to photograph my growing eyelashes, and after a hundred frames I gave up on taking a high-quality photo. After proper circumcision, I present the resulting redneck with bulging eyes for your consideration.

And the backstory is this:

One day I realized that I had very few eyelashes and every day their number was rapidly decreasing. I could just rub my eyes and find 2-3 eyelashes on my fingers. Yes, easily! And this happened after a trip to Thailand in 2014 ( November December).

The situation was especially bad with the lower eyelids, where there was almost nothing left at all.

So, in February 2016, I seriously started caring for my eyelashes using products I found recipes for on the Internet. I stopped from time to time due to laziness, but in general I used an oil cocktail and just pure oils at least once every 2 days.

A mixture of oils for eyelash growth. Recipe.

1. Tools:

Container for storing the finished composition. In my case, this is a 10 gram jar purchased on Aliexpress with a tightly screwed lid.

Needle or nail scissors.

Pipette for measuring drops of oil.

Brush for stirring and applying to eyelashes. I also bought it on Aliexpress. But in principle, you can take a mascara brush, wash it in a soapy solution and use it as much as you like.

2. Ingredients.

1 capsule of the vitamin complex "Aevit". The vitamins are very good and can be added to other cosmetical tools(in cream or hair masks). 2 plates of 10 capsules each cost me about 70 rubles at the pharmacy.

Jojoba oil.

Almond oil.

Castor oil. The composition contains oleic, stearic, ricinic, stearic and palmitic acids, which are very helpful in hair growth. For eyelash growth, you can use just castor oil, without additives. The result will be wonderful, but it will take longer.

The composition of the cocktail turns out to be very useful. In addition, any of the oils can be replaced at any time with another, no less effective. From time to time I do this, including grape seed oil, avocado oil, encarite (shea), sea buckthorn or even burdock in the composition. All of them are used in cosmetology, including for hair growth and care.

Manufacturing process:

I pierce the Aevit capsule with a needle and squeeze the contents out of it into a jar. It turns out something like 3-4 drops.

I add oil - 8-10 drops each.

I mix and apply with a brush to the eyelashes. I used to make the mistake of trying to literally “drown” my eyelashes in oil. As a result, it hung in droplets on my eyelashes and got into my eyes. It is very difficult to remove oil from the eyes ( only if you cry properly I). In addition, excess oil can cause your eyelids to swell. So don’t repeat my mistake - you just need to moisturize your eyelashes with oil to have an effect!

It turns out that I have a mixture of barely a quarter of a jar, but this is enough for the bottom of 9-10 applications not only for eyelashes, but also for eyebrows. During the cold season, I store the mixture on the windowsill ( no matter how hard you try, the windows still blow cold) under a thick napkin so that the light does not reach. And in the summer in the refrigerator, on the shelf for medicines ( I'm sure it's in every refrigerator).

After 40-60 minutes, I blot my eyes with a cotton pad to remove excess oil.

The effect of using the oil cocktail for me personally became noticeable after 2-3 weeks. And after a couple of months, the eyelashes became thicker than they were even in the most better times. Even eyelashes appeared in the corners of the eyes, where they had never been before.

Here is the condition of my eyelashes in November 2016. The photo is not the best, but the excellent condition of the lower eyelashes is noticeably good.

The main danger in eyelash care is laziness. You need to use nourishing oils regularly, without taking long breaks.

If I didn't have enough time to make a mixture, I used pure oils. Fortunately, my collection is large and there are enough options. It turned out experimentally that it is better not to use coconut oil on my eyelashes. Just one drop is enough for me to sport red eyes the next morning ( The whites of the eyes are all in the vessels!) according to the “common vampire” type.

Cedar oil showed the best results ( pine nut oil).

I actually use it more often on my skin (and it is great for caring for the skin around the eyes), but sometimes I also apply it to my eyelashes. It was after this that my third row of eyelashes began to grow - short hairs began to break through between the long ones.

Cocoa butter also stands out among others. However, there are more problems with it, because the batter is not very convenient to apply to the eyelashes. So I use cocoa butter more often on my eyebrows than on my eyelashes.

My eyebrows “feel” great, forcing me to run to the salon every 3 weeks for waxing. Massage with a brush also greatly promotes the growth of eyebrows and eyelashes. After all, it is essentially the same hair.

And finally, I present my photo as of December 10, 2017! Still the same krakozyabra, but the eyelashes are even longer!

Now I have to tighten them every morning because they look worse when straight. Recently, out of curiosity, I measured one of my fallen out upper eyelashes and got 1 centimeter!

So I will continue to grow my eye fans further!

Good luck and good luck to everyone!
