He was reportedly detained after arriving at Orly airport near Paris, but was later released. These events allegedly occurred between 1998 and 1999 and were brought to the attention of authorities in 2017.
A representative for David told the Telegraph that he denied all the allegations and called them “scandalous” and “untrue.”
