Crocheted children's hat with ears. Crochet hat with ears, diagram and description Crochet summer hat with cat ears

From MonikaPetrovna's diary
Knitting such a hat is very simple. Even those who have just taken the hook. I hope these posts help someone.

The main knitting techniques in our case are chain stitches, single crochets, double crochets, and connecting stitches.
1. Air loop (abbreviated as v.p.)

2. Single crochet (abbreviated RLS).

3. Double crochet

4. Connecting post (loop)

First you need to select the yarn, thinking in advance about how the colors and patterns will be arranged.

In this master class, Pekhorka Romantic yarn (100% cotton) 100g per 200m. Here it is.

It is thinner than the yarn from which the hats are knitted in the photo, and what is the difference - you will notice for yourself

So let's begin
Make a chain of 4-6 loops (this depends on the thickness of the yarn you choose)

Close the chain into a ring with a connecting loop
Next, knit in a circle according to the chosen pattern. Before starting each new row, perform lifting loops. For the row with sc - 1 chain stitch, for the row with dc - 3 chain stitches. n. End each row with a connecting loop.
In the first pattern - knitting sc, in the second - dc.

Thus, you need to knit a circle with a diameter of 12 cm, making increases in each row, then make increases through the row until the length of the circle is equal to the desired size of the head for which you are trying

After this, there is no need to increase, knit the hat in the round until the last (bottom row). Gradually your circle will turn into a cap

Imagine, play with colors and patterns.
Once the cap is ready, mark the edges of the ears with a contrasting thread.

The width and height of the ears is a matter of taste.
After attaching the thread, knit the first row of the eyelet, turn the product over, make lifting loops and knit the next row. Make reductions

according to the desired ear dimensions, for example this diagram

And here's what happened to me

Having finished with the ears, we tie the edges. For this hat I chose a fan band

Single crochet techniques are often used.
Next, we make ties, stretch threads into the lower edges of the ear and braid, secure with a knot and trim the ends

If desired, decorate with flowers and pom-poms.
The hat is ready!!!

Good day!

Let's crochet a simple but very comfortable hat. This hat is suitable for both newborn babies and older children.

In the master class, I will consider the process of calculation and knitting using the example of a hat for a newborn. Size 36-38

If you want to knit a hat of a different size or from a different yarn, you need to take measurements and knit a sample for calculation.

Tools and materials:
1. Yarn "Denim" from Yarn Art or Cotton Gold from Alize.
2. Hook No. 3.5

Yarn consumption for a newborn's hat is approximately 30 grams.
Knitting density 2.1 dc per 1 cm

Yarn consumption for other sizes will depend on the size, type of yarn and individual knitting density.

The hat is knitted from top to bottom: first we knit the top part of the hat, then we knit the elastic band with the ears.

For a children's hat size 36-38, the depth and girth of the cap are shown below in the schematic drawing:

The upper part of the hat can be knitted with any pattern you like, not necessarily dc, as I knit.

In order to crochet such a hat with ears according to your own measurements, you need to know the circumference of the child’s head and the depth of the hat. For those who do not have the opportunity to take these measurements, you can rely on the table values for the average head circumference and cap depth.

You need to find out the circumference of the baby’s head and the depth of the cap

This data can also be viewed in a table of standard measurements, for example this one.

I do the following: I measure the circumference of the head, and look at the depth in the plate.
We don’t need the bottom diameter from this table! We will calculate how many loops will correspond to the required head circumference. That's why at the beginning of MK I wrote that I would need to knit a sample.

In order to know your knitting density, knit the sample with the selected pattern. Its width is approximately 10 cm. We calculate the horizontal knitting density, how many loops are in 1 cm. Then we multiply the horizontal density by the circumference of the head in cm.

Example of calculating knitting density:

In a sample equal to 10 cm, 21 dc are placed (I measure the dc pattern).
Horizontal knitting density = 21:10 = 2.1 loops.
This means that 2.1 dc loops fit in 1 cm.

The circumference of a newborn's head is 36-38 cm. You can subtract 1 cm for a good fit. The green cap is knitted for a head circumference of 36. But it stretches to 38-39 cm.
I count how many dcs correspond to 36 cm:
36*2.1=75.6 loops. Here I shorten up - 76 loops.

You can make a reduction to a lesser extent, here we already look at the situation. If you use any pattern to knit the upper part of the hat, then count the number of loops in accordance with the pattern report, etc.

If the upper part of the cap is knitted with a pattern that forms an uneven edge (for example, with shells), then in the last rows of knitting the upper cap the edge must be “evened out.”

The hat is knitted from top to bottom from the crown. I expand the bottom with increases according to the rule of the circle to the calculated number of loops (in my case, according to the rule of the circle I expand to 72 loops, I will add 4 loops later). But! So that the hat fits well on the head and does not fold at the top, I knit the last row with increases according to the rule of the circle one row from the penultimate row. Below I have given a verbal description of the rows of the cap connected by dc.

Rule of the circle when knitting dc:

Row 1 – knit 12 dc;
2nd row - 24 CCHs: 2 CCHs are knitted into each column of the previous row;
3rd row - 36 Dcs: 2 Dcs are knitted per stitch;
4th row - 48 Dcs: 2 Dcs are knitted through two columns;
5th row - 60 Dcs: 2 Dcs are knitted through three columns;
Row 6 - 72 Dcs: 2 Dcs are knitted through four stitches, etc.

According to the rule of the circle, you need to add 12 dc in each row. When knitting the upper part with other patterns, you need to expand the fabric following the logic of the pattern.

According to my calculations, for a head circumference of 36-38 cm, it should be 76 dc.

Therefore, when performing increases, I focus both on the rule of the circle and on the calculated number of loops. And in order for the cap to take the shape of a cap, I will perform the last increments not in each row, but every other row.

I marked the number of loops in each row of the top of the hat on the photo:

I added the remaining 4 dc according to the calculation in the 10th row and reached 76 loops.

Attention! We knit the hat in circular rows; with this knitting method, the loops shift in a spiral and, accordingly, the “seam” from the instep loops at the back also gradually moves to the side.

Therefore, so that the back of the cap is knitted carefully, consider on your own how you can knit lifting loops that replace the first dc.

I knit instead of 3 air. lifting loops dc from the loop with which I connect the row. You can find this method yourself on the Internet.

Let's move on to knitting the elastic and ears

We knit the elastic in single crochets behind the back half loop (hereinafter simply sc).

For an example of knitting and calculating ears, I used a sample - a mini-cap. There are 48 dc in the last row of this hat.

Algorithm for calculating loops for knitting elastic with ears.

Height of the elastic (number of loops, because we knit the elastic perpendicular to the upper part) =

Cap depth - Top height

We divide the total number of loops into 3 parts:

1 part back of the head with ear;
2 part forehead;
Part 3 - back of the head with ear.
48:3 = 16 stitches per piece.

1-16 rows we knit the back of the head and the right ear.

17-32 rows we knit the forehead.

33-48 rows we knit the back of the head and the left ear.

The number of loops in the last row of the top part of the cap corresponds to the number of rows when knitting an elastic band with ears: 48 dc and, accordingly, 48 rows of elastic.

From the loop on the hook we make a chain of ch of the required length. We knit the first row of RLS.

We fasten the last sc with a half single crochet to the same base from where the chain from the ch comes out.

Then, using a half single crochet, we move to the next loop of the top of the cap.

Unfold the knitting and knit row 2.

2nd row: 5 sc.

3rd row: 1 ch inc (at the beginning of each row, ch inc replaces the first sc), in the next loop we knit an increase (increase - 2 sc, knitted from one base). There are 6 sc in this row. When the row is completed, we fasten this row with a half single crochet to the next loop of the top of the cap, and with the next half single crochet we move to the next loop of the top of the cap:

1 cap base loop = 1 row of cross elastic.

4th row: 6 sc.

5-6 row: 7 sc
7-8 row 8 sc. This is the center of the eyelet; in the 8th row I also knit a tie.
9-10 row 7 sc (starting to decrease)
I do the decrease like this: I start the row with 1 ch of the rise, which replaces the first sc, then I knit the 2nd and 3rd loop together with sc.
11-12 row: 6 sc
13-14 row: 5 sc
15-16 row 4 sc. We finished knitting one part of the back of the head with the ear.

17-18 row. We begin to knit the forehead. In the 17th row there will be another decrease, since the number of loops on the forehead is 2 less than the initial number of loops on the back of the head.
In centimeters, the back of the head is 1 cm longer than the forehead! For other yarn, the number of loops will be different.

Diagram of an elastic band with ears for a mini hat.

We knit a tie in the center of each ear. For larger sizes, you can knit a hat without ties.

When 48 rows are knitted (that is, all rows of elastic are knitted), you need to connect the last row to the first. We connect the parts with a chain stitch (single crochet).

Now let's return to the hat for the newborn. Let me remind you that in the last row I got 76 dc.

To knit ears with an elastic band, the entire number of loops must be divided into 3 parts.

76:3 = 25.3 loops, fractional number.

Important! To knit ears, the number of loops must always be a multiple of 2, that is, divided by 2 without a remainder.

I divided the loops as follows:

Part 1 - back of the head and right ear - 26 loops;
Part 2 - forehead -24 loops;
Part 3 - back of the head and left ear - 26 loops.
A total of 76 rows will be knitted in the transverse direction, remember that the number of rows is equal to the number of loops at the base of the cap.

Pattern for knitting comfortable ears in the transverse direction

I start knitting the back of the hat with 9 loops, and the forehead with 7 loops! Let me remind you that the forehead is shorter than the back of the head by about 1 cm. For my yarn and my knitting density, this is 2 sc.

I make increases and decreases in the same way as in the mini sample.

I complete the knitting in the same way: I connect the beginning and end of the knitting with a chain stitch.

The larger hat is crocheted with Jin yarn from Yarn Art and crochet size 3.25.

The dimensions of the cap are shown on a schematic drawing.

The number of loops in the last row is 88 sc.

I count the loops for the ears: 88: 3 = 29 loops and 1 loop left.

The ears need an even number of loops, so I think that for each part there are 28 loops and 4 loops left over.

I divide the loops as follows: 30 (back of the head) - 28 (forehead) - 30 (back of the head); I gave the remaining loops to the back of the head, 2 loops of each part.

I start knitting with 12 sc at the back of the head. I knit the forehead on 10 sc.

Increases and decreases by analogy with the sample (see example of knitting a mini hat).

And one more thing about calculating the loops for knitting ears, if when dividing by 3 there are 4 “extra” loops left, then we give them to the back of the head, as in the example with a large hat, 2 loops of each part. If, when dividing, there are 2 loops left over, then add the remainder to the forehead.

For example, let there be 74 loops in the last row of the cap.

74:3 = 24 loops and 2 loops left. In this case, we give the rest to the forehead.

I knitted a large hat without ties.

Knit with pleasure! Make yourself and your loved ones happy with your creativity!

Knitted hats for children are always in fashion. They are warm, beautiful, practical. You can buy a ready-made hat, or you can knit it yourself.

It is mistakenly believed that knitting a hat is as easy as shelling pears. After all, for this you need to have perseverance and know at least a minimum of the basics of knitting. However, if you have these qualities, you will be able to knit a hat.

First of all, you need to choose a yarn that is suitable for a product such as a children's hat.

A child's knitted hat must fit following criteria:

  1. It should be comfortable, that is, not slipping, not puffing up, not pressing. Yarn plays an important role in this matter.
  2. The child's head should not sweat. Therefore, the yarn must be natural.
  3. The hat should not be prickly. Wool is not the most suitable option in this regard, although wool is a natural and warm yarn. You can't do without synthetic additives. In addition, synthetic fibers help maintain the elasticity of the product.
  4. The hat should be appropriate for the season. Remember, cotton is a summer yarn, wool, wool blend is a winter yarn.
How to choose yarn for a children's hat

Important: To knit a high-quality, seasonally appropriate hat, pay special attention to the choice of yarn.

For spring The following hats are suitable: types of yarn:

  • Cotton with acrylic
  • Merino wool (it is not itchy) for early spring
  • Acrylic (yarn is easy to care for, soft, but not natural)
  • Alpaca and microfiber

Many mothers want their child to be dressed not just warmly and comfortably, but also fashionably. In a crimson hat with ears, the girl will look stylish, and paired with a coat, your girl’s image will be bright, fashionable and original.

Fashionable spring hat for girls

The hat is knitted from the crown. Choose the right yarn. For this hat, not too thin yarn is suitable (75% acrylic, 25% wool will be just right).

Knitting description:

  1. Cast on a chain of 6 air loops and close it into a ring.
  2. In the second row, knit 12 double crochets.
  3. In each subsequent row, increase the number of double crochets.
  4. Tie a circle using an enlarged method that will correspond to the diameter of the child’s head.
  5. Then, until the end of knitting the hat, knit with another pattern: seven double crochets in one loop, count five loops, from the base of the sixth loop, knit seven double crochets again.
  6. Connect the bundle of posts with a connecting loop. In each row, the columns are arranged in a checkerboard pattern.

Beautiful crochet hat for autumn for a girl: diagram and description

Important: For autumn hats, you should take warmer yarn. It is desirable that the composition contains wool. You can make a lining for the hat, but if the yarn is dense and warm, you can do without the lining.

A hat with a flower will warm the baby in the cool autumn and delight with its bright colors.

Autumn hat for a girl

To knit this hat you will need two colors of yarn. The yarn can be half wool and half acrylic. You can take another composition, for example, 75% wool, 25% acrylic. You will need a 3.5 mm hook.

  • Like most crochet hats, this one needs to be crocheted from the top of the head.
  • Make a ring of air loops.
  • In the next row, double the number of stitches by working a row of double crochets.
  • In the third row, double crochets alternate with embossed stitches.
  • In the fourth row, knit 2 double crochets, 1 raised crochet.
  • In the fifth row between the double crochets and the double crochet, add 1 chain stitch.
  • In the sixth row in each segment we increase by 1 double crochet and 1 chain stitch.
  • On the seventh row, make 1 more double crochet in each segment.
  • Increase the number of columns in each row until you get a diameter equal to the child's head.
  • When you have knitted the desired diameter, continue knitting without adding stitches.

Warm winter crochet hat for girls: diagram and description

A winter hat must be warm. To do this, you need to make a lining - from fleece, from merino wool, from brushed knitwear.

Important: Most often, fleece is used as a lining for a hat. This fabric is very warm and does not allow cold air to pass through. But it’s worth saying that fleece is still synthetic. If you want a natural lining, knit it from merino wool or sew it from several layers of knitwear.

A winter hat will be very warm if knitted from wool. Many adults, and children in particular, do not like woolen products because they are itchy. You can use merino wool, which is not itchy.

Pink hat with flower

For knitting you will need: hook 3.5; pink and white yarn.

The lining can be knitted or made from fleece. There is a knitted lining here.

Then start decorating the flower:

  1. Knit the first row of the flower with double crochets (through the loops of the 1st and 3rd rows of the hat).
  2. The second row is knitted like this: turn the knitting and make 2 double crochets in each double crochet.
  3. Subsequent rows are knitted similarly to the second. Tie the last row with white thread.
  4. The volume of the flower depends on your desire.

Now gaining popularity large ribbed knit. A warm hat with ears for a girl is knitted using this crochet stitch. Almost all children love crocheted baby hats. Along with the hat, you can also make a snood of the same color. In this article we will look at how to knit a fur hat, for example, a cat hat with ears.

What we need to create such a cute little thing as a baby hat:

  • gray, black and white threads;
  • pink yarn;
  • a special piece for lining;
  • hooks 2 and 2.5.

The size of the hat should be 50-52 centimeters in circumference.

How to knit a cat hat

According to a personal knitting pattern for the bottom, we knit it to a certain diameter (about 15-17 centimeters).

First, we knit in a circle without adding to a certain height, about 15 cm. We make new four rows like this: 2 dc, 2 open (relief) dc. Having made 4 rows in this way, we will have a headdress 18 cm high. Next, we begin to work on the ears.

To do this, we divide all the loops into five parts and arrange them as follows - one part (occipital), two parts (frontal), two parts (ears). There will be about 22 loops for each part. We make each ear, removing one loop on each side in a new row.

We knit the other parts of the hat according to the patterns and sew them to certain places. We decorate the muzzle and make a fleece lining. Animal hat for a child, ready!

Children's cat hat

This is work for a head circumference of 46-48 cm. So, let's get started. We will need the following materials for knitting:

  • pink, gray, white and black wool and acrylic yarn;
  • hooks with different numbers;
  • double thread.

For thread you need to take a hook number 4.5. To create the inside of gray ears, flowers, nose and eyes - No. 3. And to create outer part of the ears We work with a pinkish tint using crochet number 2.

Detailed job description

Twist it around your finger thread twice and create a ring, then knit 3 VP and 11 dc into it. Tighten the ring. We make the hat with double crochets, add twelve columns in a row and knit two columns in one.

We create raises in such an order that they are not on top of each other. We move on to a new row, making three air loops again. We close it with a special column in the top loop. Count out 9 cm and add every other row.

We knit and turn over every row. The size of this hat requires 72 columns. We crochet as much as we need, excluding 0.5 cm for the binding. The base is done. It remains to complete the details.

We create ears for the ties: divide the number of columns by five. We divide the product exactly in a circle. Two will go to the ears, two will go back, two will go forward.

We make double crochets, remembering the alternation of the front side and the back row. In this case, the first row is the purl row. We create fifteen columns. And so six rows.

After the first two, we remove two columns at the beginning and at the end. That is, you need to connect three columns at the same time.

We work with the binding: we do it along the edge of the cap row of single crochets. In the transition to the ears, we do three at once. At the bends and ends you need to make two of one.

Knitting ties, description

First we take six identical pieces of thread. We immerse them in the center of the ear, straighten the ends and braid them in four threads. Using one of the threads in each braid, we secure our braids into a knot, and cut off the excess using scissors.

The flowers need to be made according to the following pattern: we knit four rows with pink yarn, the fifth row with white yarn. We knit the third row purely in the round, from the fourth we begin to make petals.

We knit according to the pattern and along this chain 4 RLS, starting from second loop from the hook; Next, skip the column and work five more times.

Then, using another thread, we tie everything into a circle. Our flower has a diameter of 9 cm. We iron over the flowers and steam them to make it easier to sew on, and after that they will look much better. Need to iron the flowers from the wrong side. Let's sew them on the ears. It is necessary to sew using a thin thread so that the stitches are not visible from the inside. We use ties for beauty and to insulate the product.

Knitting ears, description

For knitting we study the pattern with ears. Outer side should be pink. The inner side is gray. Two ears each. If the thickness of the yarn matches, then you can make both parts according to the same pattern. Put the two parts together.

On the outside, the final row should be a knit row. We tie the borders with three rows of single crochets. We crochet three stitches from one on top.

The children's hat should be smooth . We put ears on the hat and using pink thread we sew the back part, capturing all the loops of the bottom row and the top of the posts. The front also needs to be tied with pink yarn.

Sew on the gray part small transparent thread, stretching it slightly so that it is strong. Flowers need to be arranged so that the child’s ears do not freeze later. Flowers will not allow cold air to pass through and then the child will not be blown away.

To create a muzzle, the nose needs to be knitted according to a triangle pattern, black. That is, we make a triangle, and after that we crochet on the turns in one row of sc with VP.

We also make the eyes according to the standard pattern: four rows in black, the fifth in white. We also steam the eyes and nose and stretch them slightly while warm.

We pin the nose in the center of the cap and the eyes above it. Next, use a thin small thread to make a circle around the nose and eyes.

Try to awaken your imagination and to your eyes attach beads or rhinestones. To create a mustache, take two pieces of thread, straighten them, fasten them on the back side, and then move away to a couple of posts and thread them again in the same place.

We twist the threads into a flagellum in our twisting direction so that one thick thread comes out. Then we pull the needle out to the wrong side at the end of the antennae and move on.

Then we make three antennae. We do the same for the second side and eyelashes. We secure everything from the wrong side with regular threads. Now our crocheted hat with ears for the girl is ready.

Conclusion

Animal hats are possible knitting is not only for girls, but also for boys. After all, all children love animals, the main thing is to choose your child’s favorite animal.

Brief description of the cap for OG 50

(yarn - a little more than a skein of Trinity “Snowdrop”, 100% cotton, hook No. 4), we knit everything in a spiral:

Rows 2-4 - knit in the round with 6 increases in each row (24)
Row 5 - we begin to knit the ears, we do it this way: in addition to the increases in the bottom, we select 2 points on the sides (for me this is the 5th loop from the beginning of the row and the 5th loop to the end of the row) and knit 3 sc at these points.
6-12 rows - we knit with uniform increases - 6 sc in each row, plus 3 sc on the sides for the ears, while the loops in which we knit 3 sc for the ears should be located strictly under each other in each row.
13-14 rows - we knit without increases in the ears, but with increases in the bottom (6 sc in each row).
Rows 15-16 - we start decreasing in the ears, we do it like this: we make one out of 3 loops, we knit the bottom without increasing.
Row 17 - continue decreasing in the ears, plus knitting 6 equal increases in the bottom.
Rows 18-19 - continue decreasing in the ears, knitting the bottom without increasing.
Row 20 - continue decreasing in the ears, plus knitting 6 equal increases in the bottom.
Rows 21-22 - continue decreasing in the ears (these are the last rows of the ears), knitting the bottom without increasing.
Rows 23-31 - continue to knit the crown sc.
Fields: 1st row is knitted behind the front loop of the stitches of the previous row, 2nd row - increase in every 4th loop, 3-6th rows - sc.

Description for OG 56
thick yarn (I have yarnart merino bulky, alize superlana maxi is also suitable) - OG 56 took 150 g or one and a half skeins
hook number 5
The hat is entirely knitted, nothing is sewn or tied, it is knitted in a spiral. Let's start with a standard circle:
1st row - 6 sc in amigurumi ring (6)
2nd row - 1 increase in each sbn of the previous row (12)
Row 3 - *1 sc, 1 increase* 6 times (18)
Row 4 - *2 sc, 1 increase* 6 times (24)
Row 5 - *3 sc, 1 increase* 6 times (30)
And then attention (!) we begin to knit the ears, we do it like this: in addition to the increases in the bottom, we select 2 points on the sides (for me this is the 8th loop from the beginning of the row and the 8th loop to the end of the row) and knit 3 sc at these points, like this :
6 row - 4 sbn, 1 increase, 1 sbn, 3 sbn in 1 sbn of the previous row, 2 sbn, 1 increase, * 4 sbn, 1 increase * 2 times, 1 sbn, 3 sbn in 1 sbn of the previous row, 2 sbn, 1 increase, 4 sc, 1 increase (40)
And so we knit 4 more rows with even increases - 6 sc in each row plus 3 sc on the sides for the ears, while the loops in which we knit 3 sc for the ears should be located in each row strictly under each other (see fig. 1). Next we knit 2 rows without any increases in the ears. We knit the next 5 rows with uniform mirrored decreases in the ears (see Fig. 2), while we no longer make increases around the circumference of the bottom.
Next, we continue to knit the hats with the crown - I got 11 rows, in 5 and 8 of which I again made uniform increases around the circumference of the head (5 sc per row).
Having knitted the hat to the required depth, we knit the visor as follows: select 28 loops in front of the hat, mark them with markers and when knitting the next row, we knit the marked loops behind the front wall of the loop and 2 more rows according to the pattern (see Fig. 3).
Finally, tie the hat with a sc.
