Introduction of the dissertation (part of the abstract) on the topic “Formation of family values among students”

The relevance of research. In domestic science, research aimed at studying family relations, their educational and upbringing opportunities, family spiritual and moral values and the problems of their formation. This is explained both by the importance of the problematic itself, which can be classified as an “eternal” topic, and by the intensive processes occurring with the institution of the family at the present stage of social development, which have given rise to a number of complex problems and contradictions.

Analysis of scientific literature showed that in modern family and its socio-pedagogical functions, great changes have occurred, both at the global level, associated with general socio-economic trends, and at the national level, associated with the changes taking place in our country over the past two decades.

The low birth rate of the Russian population, insufficient for its reproduction, the tendency of the spread of small children, one-child, childless and single-parent families, the nuclearization of the family, the high level of abortions and divorces are facts of social reality that by their nature destabilize society and hinder its sustainable development .

New socio-economic conditions, the socio-economic and demographic crisis in Russia have given rise to many problems in the field of family education and preparation of the younger generation for conscious parenthood and the formation of their own family.

Transformed moral ideas about marriage and family, the foundations of the family have been destabilized, young people have lost the traditional perception of parenthood and childhood, domination prevails in the modern family material assets over the spiritual, devaluation occurs family values, the social significance of fatherhood and motherhood is reduced.

In the current conditions, there is an increase in the requirements of the social environment for the flexibility of human thinking and behavior, for independence and responsibility for one’s own destiny and the fate of other people, for the meaningfulness of life’s journey, understanding and? resolving contradictions? modern human existence" in, its various fields, including marriage and family.

The family is experiencing material, spiritual and psychological difficulties and cannot always guarantee the full performance of its functions, which is a necessary condition for preservation; continuity" of generations, the development of individuals and societies as a whole, social stability and progress. Research by domestic scientists has established that the value of family and family relationships among the younger generation! is falling due to the formation of a new system of values in them; based on the priority of individualistic-<<Я»,.утрате семейных традиций. и обычаев, нарушении семейного: .уклада, низком:; уровне- представлений: о базовой социально-психологической5 функции человека - родительстве (материнстве или отцовстве).

In an era of global changes that have engulfed the entire world community, including Russian society, the question of preparing a growing one becomes a priority. generation to create a family, fulfillment; the role of responsible parents and the formation of family values among the younger generation; Students who are on the threshold of self-determination in life are especially promising in the formation of family values; since the most valuable socio-psychological acquisition of youth is: the discovery of one’s inner world, the acquisition of vital values and relationships with others, loved ones, and oneself.

Thus, at present in Russia there is an acute issue of changing attitudes towards the family, namely the need to consider the family as a social and personal value.

The relevance of forming the value of family among students in modern conditions is due, from our point of view; also by the presence of a number of contradictions: between the need for organization. the process of providing pedagogical conditions for the formation of family values among students and the insufficient development of the theoretical, methodological and technological foundations of its formation;

Between the objective social need of society and the state to formulate the value of family in the younger generation and the real status of the family in modern society, the decline in the role of the parental family, social institutions of society* and educational institutions in the process of its formation, taking into account new socio-economic conditions;

Between the subjective! the activity of the student himself in developing the value of family and the low level of pedagogical literacy of parents, and the professional readiness of teachers, their joint activities in organizing this process.

The noted contradictions are an indicator of insufficient development of the problem of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the formation, value of family among students in the educational process of the university, and, therefore, determine the need for its special study with the aim of subsequently introducing the results of this study into the practical plane of everyday Russian reality. 1

Thus, the contradictions we have identified allow us to formulate the problem of pedagogical research as follows: what are the pedagogical conditions for the formation of the value of family among students?

The objectively existing needs in the formation of family values among modern students and the insufficient scientific, theoretical and methodological development of the above-mentioned problem determined the choice of the topic of dissertation research: “Formation of family values among students.”

Based on this, the purpose of the study is to determine the pedagogical conditions for the formation of family values among students at the present stage of social development.

The object of the study is the value of family among students.

The subject of the study is the process of forming the value of family among students.

The working hypothesis of the study is based on the idea that the process of forming the value of family among students in modern conditions of social development, specifically in the situation of university education, will be effective if:

The concept of “family value” as a scientific-pedagogical category is clarified and its specific features are determined;

A model for the formation of family values among students in modern sociocultural conditions has been developed and tested, aimed at fostering readiness for family life and responsible parenthood (motherhood or fatherhood), which will be based on pedagogical principles, principles and approaches; a system of criteria, indicators and levels of formation of family values among students has been determined; a set of pedagogical conditions has been developed and implemented to ensure the effective formation of family values among students.

Based on the definition of the object, the subject of the study, its purpose, working hypothesis, the research objectives are outlined in the following context:

1. Clarify the concept of “family value” as a scientific and pedagogical category and determine its specific features.

2. To identify the theoretical and methodological foundations for the formation of family values among students in psychological, pedagogical and social research.

3. Develop criteria, indicators and levels of formation of family values among students.

4. Develop and test a model for the formation of family values among students in modern sociocultural conditions, aimed at fostering readiness for family life and responsible parenthood (motherhood or fatherhood), which is based on pedagogical patterns, principles and approaches.

5. Identify pedagogical conditions that ensure the effectiveness of developing family values among students.

The theoretical and methodological basis of the study consists of the most important provisions * of philosophical and pedagogical anthropology about man as a subject, personality and individuality, systemic ideas about personality as a subject of relationship and highest value, its activity essence (K. A. Abulkhanova, B. G. Ananyev, L S. Vygotsky, A. N. Leontiev, B. F. Lomov, V. N. Myasishchev, S. L. Rubinshtein, etc.); ideas of a systems approach (V.P. Bespalko, I.V. Blauberg, G.P. Shchedrovitsky, etc.); holistic approach (Yu. K. Babansky, V. V. Kraevsky, V. A. Slastenin, etc.); personal-activity approach (V.V. Davydov, M.S. Kagan, E.A. Levanova, A.V. Mudrik, etc.); acmeological approach (A. A. Bodalev, A. A. Derkach, V. P. Zazykin, N. V. Kuzmina, etc.); competency-based approach (I. A. Zimnyaya, A. K. Markova, S. B. Seryakova, A. V. Khutorskoy, etc.).

The work is based on the methodology of pedagogical research (V. I. Zagvyazinsky, V. V: Kraevsky, B. T. Likhachev, N. D. Nikandrov, etc.)

To solve the problems and test the hypothesis put forward, the following set of research methods, complementary to each other, was used:

Theoretical (analysis of scientific literature on the research problem, study and analysis of documents, study and generalization of domestic experience in the formation of family values);

Empirical (sociological survey (questioning), pedagogical observation, survey, conversation, pedagogical diagnostics, pedagogical modeling, experimental work);

Methods of qualitative and quantitative processing of experimental research data (statistical methods, presentation of research results in the form of tables, diagrams, drawings, diagrams).

Experimental base of the study: The study involved a total of 96 students (63 girls) of 3rd and 4th years of the Orthodox Institute of St. John the Theologian (humanitarian specialties) and 85 students (57 girls) of the 3rd and 4th years of the Armavir Orthodox Social Institute (humanitarian specialties). In total, 180 people took part in the experimental work.

Research stages:

Stage I (2008 - 2009) - search and theoretical. Based on the analysis of literary sources, various aspects of the research problem were studied and criteria, indicators and levels of formation of family values among students were identified, the object, subject, tasks, hypothesis, methodology and research methods were determined.

Stage II (2009 - 2010) - experimental. In 2009, a diagnosis of the initial level of formation of family values among student youth was carried out through a sociological survey (questionnaire), a; also the use of a complementary methodology (“Methodology for studying value orientations” by M. Rokeach), which provides the most accurate idea of the attitudes and value concepts of the individual. After the diagnosis, the educational and upbringing4 program “Preparing Youth for Family Life” was introduced into the work of the university, aimed at “stimulating interest among students in issues of family, marriage and parenthood. After students were included in the program in 2010, an analysis was carried out of the dynamics of change in the formed™ values; families among student youth (comparison of research data conducted in 2009 with data from 2010) using the longitudinal method with the same respondents, in the same age and professional cohort through repeated questioning.

Stage III (2010 - 2011) - final and generalizing. The data was analyzed, systematized, summarized and interpreted. experimental work, the main conclusions were formulated. Main provisions submitted for defense:

1. “The value of family” is considered as a multi-valued concept that includes a general principle regarding human behavior patterns within a particular culture or society, through the process of socialization, based on the individual’s beliefs that the family is the actual significance, meaning and standard in his life. Possessing signs of value, the family can be classified as both personal and social values and is located in the sphere of human relationships, one of the aspects of objective reality. The family is a value object that is endowed with special meaning in the personal and social consciousness. Young people’s perception of family as a value depends on the fulfillment of the need to communicate with family members and confidence in feeling like a member of the family, strong-willed readiness to act in accordance with family values, and the desire to gain satisfaction from spending leisure time together. sustainable behavior in accordance with beliefs in the value of family and family relationships.

2. The methodological basis for determining the essence and content of the concept of “family” was identified in the following approaches: integrative, functional, system-structural, activity-based. For the study of family issues, the most significant is the value approach, which consists in considering the family as a value developed by humanity, realizing the real achievability of this value today and foreseeing its further formation as a component of progress, based on which in pedagogical science it becomes possible to consider family as a socially significant phenomenon, imagine it in a “developing society” and at the same time approach the family as a subjective (personal) value.

3. Criteria for the formation of family values among students include the following indicators: ideological formation of moral consciousness; awareness of family as a value; preservation and enhancement of national and cultural traditions of the family, involvement in family and clan), educational and educational (acquisition and replenishment of knowledge about issues of family and marital relations; formation of social roles of spouses and parents; - pedagogical literacy, equipment with advanced experience and new technologies of education, readiness for their implementation), activity-based (the presence of economic and business skills necessary in the future in everyday life and the ability to use them; the ability to regulate intra-family relationships, conflict situations; community of family interests, hobbies). The value of each indicator allows one to judge* the degree of manifestation of the main signs of awareness of the family as a value; which, in turn, helps determine the level of its formation.

4. The model for the formation of family values among students is based on the support of this process by elements of the social environment, appears in the form of an integral, fairly dynamic pedagogical system, open to constant renewal and can be represented by the following interrelated and interdependent components: theoretical-methodological, criteria-based evaluative, technological, psychological and pedagogical, ensuring the complexity and effectiveness of psychological and pedagogical influence aimed at developing the value of family among students in the educational process of the university.

5. For the effective formation of family values among students, it is necessary to implement the following groups of pedagogical conditions: 1) aimed at the formation of an ideological component, promoting young people’s awareness of the family as an important human value for the individual and society as a whole; 2) including an educational component: a) the creation of an educational space focused on increasing the theoretical and practical level of preparing young people for family and marriage and b) an information space at the university in order to increase the volume and quality of information received, methodological and organizational work for acquisition and replenishment of knowledge by students on issues of family and marriage relations; 3) based on the activity component, where the interaction of state, public and private organizations, educational institutions, families will allow youth to be included in socially useful activities, to reveal the abilities of young people through various forms of work and interaction of these social institutions to prepare youth for family life and responsible parenting.

Testing and implementation of the research results were carried out: within the framework of experimental work, through the author giving lectures and conducting practical classes, through scientific publications, participation in seminars and trainings; as part of presentations at scientific and practical conferences.

Structure of the dissertation. The dissertation consists of an introduction, two chapters, a list of references and applications. In addition to textual materials, the work includes tables and diagrams.

Conclusions for Chapter 2:

Based on scientific principles in the field of pedagogical modeling (V.V. Davydova, M.I. Rozhkova, V.A. Shtofa, T.V. Masharova, etc.), the study developed a model for the formation of family values among students based on support of this process by elements of the social environment. This model includes the following four interconnected blocks: theoretical-methodological, criteria-evaluative, technological, psychological-pedagogical.

The theoretical and methodological block defines the purpose of creating the model; The criteria, indicators and levels of the formed™ family values are defined in the criteria-evaluative criteria. The technological block includes elements of the social environment that have a direct impact on the formation process; family values among students, as well as the structure of their interaction. The psychological and pedagogical block reflects the conditions that contribute to the effectiveness of the formation of family values; among student youth: In the study, the levels of family values formed among student youth were formulated and substantiated: high, medium and low.

Theoretical; analysis of scientific approaches, the essence and content of the value of family among young people in the process of obtaining higher education: development of a model; its formation* made it possible to develop a methodology for experimental testing of the content of the formation of the value of family among students from the village. using general scientific, pedagogical and psychological diagnostic methods; and statistical; data processing.

Experimental work on a research problem! was carried out in three stages. At the first ascertaining stage, a diagnosis was carried out; initial; levels of formed™ family values among students, through conducting1 a sociological survey (questionnaire). Along with the survey using the author's questionnaire in this study! was; a complementary one was used: a technique associated1 with a more precise one; determining the attitudes and value ideas of an individual “Methodology for studying value orientations) (M. Rokeach). At the second formative stage of the pedagogical experiment, a purposeful; University activities focused on young people gaining knowledge about family and marriage, as well as developing the value of family among students. During the experiment at the university, educational and upbringing was carried out; the program “Preparing Youth for Family Life”, aimed at stimulating interest among students in issues of family, marriage and parenthood. The program of this course is designed for students aged 20 years. At the third stage of the study, an analysis was carried out of the dynamics of changes in the formation of family values among students (comparing data from a study conducted in 2009 with data from 2010) using the longitudinal method through repeated questioning in order to identify the dynamics of the formation of family values among students.

An analysis of the effectiveness of the formation of family values among students at the control stage of the experimental work showed that an increase in the level of formation of family values is achieved due to the technological effectiveness of the educational process at the university.

IN; for the purposes of effective value creation! families of students and young people, taking into account the results and conclusions of the study, it is advisable to:

general characteristics

The priorities of state family policy at the present stage are the approval of traditional family values and family lifestyle, the revival and preservation of spiritual and moral traditions in family relationships and family education, the creation of conditions for ensuring family well-being, responsible parenthood, increasing the authority of parents in the family and maintaining social sustainability family, parental education and education.

Activities to create conditions for comfortable living of families, improve living standards, and ensure the protection of rights and legitimate interests are interdepartmental in nature and carried out within the framework of current federal and regional legislation.

A significant event of the last period was the adoption in August 2014 of the Concept of State Family Policy in the Russian Federation for the period until 2025, the need for the development and implementation of which was determined by the challenges facing society in socio-economic and demographic development.

The goals of state family policy are to support, strengthen and protect the family and the values of family life, create the necessary conditions for the family to perform its functions, improve the quality of life of families and ensure the rights of family members in the process of social development. One of the main objectives of state family policy is to increase the values of the family lifestyle, preserve spiritual and moral traditions in family relationships and family education.

As of January 1, 2015, more than 215 thousand families with children live in the Tyumen region, with more than 309 thousand children. In the total number of families, more than 17 thousand families are large, about 60 thousand are young families. At the same time, more than 41 thousand single-parent families.

The process of forming the values of family life among children, adolescents, youth and the parent community is one of the priority areas of work of educational institutions, carried out from early preschool age.

Implementing the state standard of preschool education, kindergartens closely interact with the families of pupils, involving them directly in educational activities. At the same time, the successful experience of family education is popularized, the content of the educational process becomes significant family events, interesting family stories and traditions. The active participation of parents in educational activities is one of the indicators of the effectiveness of the institution.

At school, the formation of family values is carried out both within class and extracurricular activities. In literature lessons, schoolchildren get acquainted with the works of Russian classics, which describe the way of life and family traditions of the 18th-20th centuries, and compare them with modernity. History and social studies lessons, the modular course “Fundamentals of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics” (since 2012, this is a new resource for the formation of family values) make it possible to understand the importance of the family as the basis of society; in history lessons, children learn to compile their genealogies, etc. Schoolchildren acquire skills in joint family activities that shape the traditions of spiritual culture through research, social projects, and practice-oriented classes.

In educational organizations, the formation of family values among students is one of the areas of socially significant activity. Spiritual and moral education programs have been developed and are being implemented, within the framework of which activities are carried out aimed at the formation of family values, a positive image of the family, strengthening family traditions and the spiritual unity of generations. Within the framework of academic disciplines, topics devoted to modern problems of the family institution are discussed (issues of communication in the family, civil marriage, single-parent families, preservation of family traditions, etc.), classes on genealogy “From the beginning, from the origins, from the fundamental principles ...” are conducted, the module is studied “Family law” (the concept of family, family legal relations, the subject and sources of family law, familiarity with the family code of the Russian Federation).

Currently, close cooperation between schools and parents is manifested in the implementation of school-family projects, social practices, regional social and pedagogical events, etc.

Since 2013, the educational work plans of all municipal education authorities and educational organizations have included the section “Popularization and promotion of family values, traditions, and the cult of the multigenerational family,” within which:

Creative work competitions and photo exhibitions are held: “My Family Tree”, “Family Professions”, “Family Traditions of the Siberian Province”, events dedicated to Mother’s Day, Elderly Person’s Day, Children’s Day, etc.;

Projects are being created and implemented: “Worker Dynasties”, “My Family in the History of the Tyumen Region”, “The History of My Family in the History of the Country”, “Ideals of Family Culture”, “The Formation of a Family Man”, etc.

In educational organizations, practical housekeeping skills are developed during clubs. Young family clubs are very popular, the work of which is aimed at developing a sense of duty and responsibility to parents and relatives, acquiring knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of economic relations in the family, and nurturing a culture of marital relations. Along with traditional question and answer evenings, children's matinees, pedagogical, medical and legal consulting, project activities are also practiced. Activities implemented in clubs help strengthen the connection between the educational institution and the family, and have a beneficial effect on nurturing the best moral qualities in students.

Educational organizations systematically provide individual consultations to guardians of orphans and children without parental care, students, students and their parents on issues of family, labor, administrative and criminal legislation, as well as issues related to the field of psychology, pedagogy, raising children in the family, resolving problematic life situations.

A system has been built for social educators to work with the guardianship and trusteeship authorities and social service institutions within the framework of organizing comprehensive social, psychological, pedagogical and legal assistance to children and their families.

Educational organizations conduct information and explanatory work with parents aimed at increasing competence in matters of education. Methodological recommendations, leaflets, and booklets are distributed at parent meetings. Information useful for parents is also posted on school websites, which become platforms for free communication between parents, children and teachers. The share of parents covered by various forms of “universal parental education” in 2014 was 70% (2013 - 60%, 2012 - 55%).

Every year, the content of course training for teachers includes questions on organizing and conducting educational work with children on the formation of knowledge, ideas and beliefs about themselves as a future family man, the formation of “pedagogical competence of parents” from the point of view of the well-being of their future family. Teachers gain practical work skills during an internship at the best educational organizations, which is a mandatory component of course training. In 2014, about 2.3 thousand people completed course training. (2013 - 2.4 thousand people, 2012 - 2.2 thousand people).

Since 2012, the following formats of joint work with the teaching and parent community have been successfully tested and further introduced into permanent practice:

Open Forum “Big Change”, within the framework of which lessons, conversations, psychological trainings are held (parents live the school day as students) (2014 - more than 2 thousand people, 2013 - about 1 thousand people, 2012 - 300 people);

Forum “Life - without barriers”, including seminars, trainings, master classes.

The annual coverage is 1.2 thousand people.

In addition, the implementation of measures aimed at promoting family values and family lifestyle, reviving and preserving spiritual and moral traditions in family relationships and family education, creating conditions for ensuring family well-being, responsible parenthood, increasing the authority of parents in the family and society is carried out through the system institutions in the field of youth policy in the region, consisting of 59 institutions, including 44 institutions of additional education for children and youth.

Activities aimed at the formation of traditional family values are carried out by teachers and specialists in working with youth within the framework of institutional programs and educational work programs.

A special role in the implementation of the educational function belongs to joint leisure activities of children and parents.

In order to form traditional family values, joint activities for children and parents are being introduced into programs of additional education and leisure activities on the basis of institutions in the field of youth policy, as well as in the field of physical education and sports.

In addition, in interaction with students and their families, special attention is paid to organizing the internal space of institutions in the field of youth policy. Through the formation of the subject-spatial environment of the institution, the participation of parents in the creative life of children is ensured (information stands, an exhibition of the achievements of the institution’s pupils, the organization of “feedback” with parents, etc.).

As part of the modular program “Center for Personal and Pre-Professional Development of Youth”, implemented on the basis of the State Autonomous Institution DO TO “Palace of Creativity and Sports “Pioneer”, there is a thematic block “Family Relations” in the modules “Readiness for Family Relationships”, “Development of Family Relationships”, “Family relationships and children”, etc.

The activities of 189 young family clubs have been organized on the basis of youth policy institutions in municipal districts (urban districts) of the region. The coordinator of their activities is the Regional Club “Young Family”. These clubs carry out educational, informational, consulting, and propaganda activities, within the framework of which work is carried out to educate young people and future parents on healthy lifestyles and family planning, and provide consulting services, psychological and legal assistance. In 2014, the work of clubs for young families covered about 90 thousand people.

In order to popularize and promote traditional family values in the Tyumen region, activities are being implemented that include preparing teenagers for family life and responsible parenthood. During 2014, about 1.6 thousand events were held, in which over 60 thousand people took part.

In 2014, together with deputies of the Tyumen Regional Duma, the regional stage of the All-Russian competition “Russian Dynasty” was held, in which 34 families took part. The winning works were sent to participate in the All-Russian stage of the competition.

The regional competition “Faith. Hope. Love". In 2014, 110 people from 17 municipalities of the Tyumen region took part in this competition. The Grand Prix of the competition was awarded to the Karyakin family from the Tyumen region, which represented the Tyumen region at the International Festival “Vera. Hope. Love".

One of the main directions of the implemented social policy in the region is social support for families with children.

To provide the necessary comprehensive services to children and families with children in a timely manner, an optimal network of social service institutions (32 units) operates in the region.

On the basis of social service institutions for the population of the Tyumen region, there are about 200 clubs and circles for minors of various types: creative, applied, musical, sports and recreational. During 2014, the activities of circles (clubs) covered more than 12.7 thousand people. All clubs and clubs work with different age categories of minors. The leading position is occupied by clubs and circles of creative and applied orientation.

In order to create conditions for the formation of a favorable moral and psychological climate in the family, strengthening and harmonization of intra-family relationships, providing psychological assistance and counseling to families of various categories, the organization of clubs, “Family living rooms” and studios is provided on the basis of social service institutions.

Thus, during 2014, on the basis of 29 social service institutions for the population of the Tyumen region, 44 family communication clubs for joint activities between children and adults, and 24 clubs aimed at working only with adults functioned. About 3.3 thousand adults and more than 1.7 thousand minors are involved in the work of the clubs. The activities of the clubs cover families of various categories, incl. young, large families, families with disabled children.

Within the framework of current legislation, 29 organizations providing social services exercise certain powers of the guardianship and trusteeship authority. Based on these organizations, support services for foster families operate (hereinafter referred to as the Service). Service specialists carry out preventive and rehabilitation work to prevent crisis situations in foster families. In order to improve the psychological, pedagogical, and legal competence of substitute parents, and to prevent the return of orphans and children without parental care, the organization for orphans conducts “School of Substitute Parent” classes. The duration of training for potential adoptive parents ranges from 30.5 to 80 academic hours. In 2014, 247 “Substitute Parent Schools” were held in the region, and 732 people were trained.

Foster families, and there are more than 3.5 thousand of them in the region, are united in 29 Foster Families Clubs in all municipal districts (urban districts) of the Tyumen region, in which guardians (trustees), foster parents who have managed to overcome all the difficulties of a child’s adaptation in the family and who have created a prosperous family atmosphere, share positive experiences. The regional organization uniting the Clubs is the Assembly of Foster Families, created in 2014.

To provide timely socio-psychological, socio-pedagogical assistance to families in a pre-divorce situation, to prevent divorce in all municipal districts (urban districts), in cooperation with civil registry offices, specialists from social service institutions, the “We need each other” technology is being implemented.

In order to ensure public recognition and high respect for a woman-mother who has given birth to and raised 5 or more children with dignity, support for a family lifestyle, and family values, the “Maternal Glory” medal was established in the Tyumen region. Since 2006, 281 mothers of many children have been awarded the “Maternal Glory” medal with a one-time state benefit in the amount of 50 thousand rubles. Mothers of many children, awarded the “Maternal Glory” medal, are labor veterans of the Tyumen region.

In addition, three large families in the Tyumen region were awarded the state award - the Order of Parental Glory, and one family was awarded the medal of the Order of Parental Glory.

In order to recognize the merits of fathers with many children in the decent upbringing of children and strengthening family values, the Law of the Tyumen Region dated October 6, 2014 No. 70 introduced a regional award - the “Fatherly Valor” medal.

In 2009, the All-Russian holiday “Day of Family, Love and Fidelity” was established, designed to draw attention to the fact that the family, as the main element of society, has been and remains the guardian of spiritual and moral values, national culture and historical continuity of generations, a factor of stability and development. Every year, married couples of the Tyumen region are awarded the public award-medal “For Love and Fidelity.” Thus, in 2014, in a solemn ceremony, the medal “For Love and Fidelity” was awarded to 70 married couples in the Tyumen region, whose family life experience is 25 years or more.

As part of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Tyumen Region, the “70 Best Families of the Tyumen Region” campaign was held, aimed at increasing the prestige of the family institution and strengthening moral principles in family relationships. Based on the results of the campaign, the stories of 70 of the best families in the region were selected, which were posted on the portal of government authorities of the Tyumen region.

Every year, as part of the celebration of the International Day of the Family, the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, and Mother’s Day, a set of events is held in the municipalities of the region aimed at promoting family values, increasing the prestige of the family (holiday concerts and celebrations, exhibitions, competitions, social events, workshops). classes, flash mobs, etc.), incl. with the participation of volunteers. In total, in 2014, more than 300 events were held at social service institutions in the region.

Materials are published on issues of state policy aimed at strengthening the institution of the family, increasing the prestige of large families, on socially significant events and projects being implemented in the region.

Particular attention is paid in the media to the formation of a healthy lifestyle in families. The region's media community today is open to covering personal development and growth programs. The headings “Leadership is a lifestyle” and “Young is not green” are in effect.

The newspaper “Tyumen Region Today” publishes the following columns: “Man and Society”, “Partnership for the Future”.

The Internet portal “My Portal”, which unites active youth and teenagers, and the youth radio “Radio 7” are successfully operating. The State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company "Region-Tyumen" and the TV channel "Tyumen Time" broadcast information materials and stories promoting family health.

The press regularly publishes materials telling about large families, families in which traditions are respected, creative families who have achieved success in work or a favorite activity. A number of publications regularly publish pages for family reading, “children’s” pages with instructive and educational articles, poems, and games.

At the present stage of development of society, the formation of an integral system of family education and support for the institution of family is of particular relevance.

The formation of family values in children and youth is seriously influenced by such negative factors as the destruction of moral ideas about family and marriage, a shift in the traditional understanding of the role of parenthood, a decrease in the prestige of motherhood and fatherhood, the loss of family traditions, etc.

In modern Russian society, the institution of family and marriage is undergoing a crisis. The number of divorces and legally unregistered marriages has sharply increased, which greatly destabilizes the social situation and threatens the upbringing of the spiritual culture of the next generations. Thus, during the period from 2010 to 2014, the increase in divorces in the region was 21.3% (from 6,572 to 7,977); the share of single-parent families in the region averages 19% of the total number of families with children living in the region.

A sociological study conducted by the “Demography of Generations” Movement together with the ANO “Center for the Study of Civil Initiatives” on the topic “Family in the Tyumen Region” showed that young and older families learn family skills on the basis of others’ and their own experiences, most often unfavorable ones. As a result, mistakes perpetuated in previous generations are cloned into modern family experience.

The formation of family values should begin in childhood. This is understood as a purposeful process aimed both at society as a whole and at the family and the younger generation, the purpose of which is to foster positive attitudes towards family and marriage, preparation for marriage and solving the problems of a young family. Preparing young people for a family is the same important problem as preparing for professional activity and adapting to life in society. Family values must be formed in the parental family, and then in school and other educational organizations, in youth organizations and work collectives.

To create a positive experience in the field of family relations, the efforts of the family are not always enough, so there is a need to educate young people in matters of family life, the active participation in this activity of institutions that provide social and educational services, as well as the public. Adolescence and adolescence are characterized by the formation of a person’s ideological positions and value orientations, including orientation towards a stable and prosperous family, responsible parenthood and the values of family life. Therefore, it is important to inform young people and adolescents about the social roles of spouses when creating a family, to form a positive attitude towards the family and ideas about it as a socially significant value. It is necessary to attract the attention of the media to the problems of the modern family, including through public service advertising.

A unified education program on family life issues is extremely important for the younger generation and the parent community. The relevance of the program being developed is determined by the need for the younger generation to understand the importance of family in the life of any person, to form a holistic worldview, respect for their family, society, and the spiritual, moral and sociocultural values accepted in the family and society.

The joint participation of parents, teachers, health professionals, scientists and respected public figures is of great importance for the implementation of a program aimed at developing family values among children, adolescents, youth and parents.

Family traditions, spirituality, youth education, the formation of a positive public opinion about the family are a national idea and the main objectives of the project.
At all times, in any country, in any state, in any religion, family is considered the main thing a person can have. In Russia today this institution needs special care.
First of all, we consider it important to popularize the institution of family among adolescents and children from disadvantaged families and children in difficult life situations.
The program is divided into two main blocks: lectures, discussions and theatrical performances. As part of the lecture block, professional family psychologists, art historians and volunteers will conduct a series of master classes and lectures aimed at changing the negative or indifferent view of children and adolescents on family traditions and values.
The formation of a worldview is a complex process that entails serious personal changes as a result of the impact on the mental and cognitive essence of a person. Therefore, the project is not limited to lectures. Theater is valuable for the education and formation of personality, not only as one of the best means of reproducing reality, but also as a way of understanding it. The character of boys and girls is characterized by romantic elation and intense emotionality. The effectiveness of the psychological impact is directly dependent on the content of the performance, the interesting topic and the ability to interest the audience, find contact with it and unobtrusively contribute to the formation of a worldview. The intellectual development of young people often outstrips their emotional development. Performances help correct this situation and contribute to the formation of a comprehensively developed personality.
As part of the project, a series of lectures and master classes will be held on the territory of orphanages and boarding schools, for children from disadvantaged families, for family teenagers and young families, a play based on the tale of Peter and Fevronya will be staged and performed. More than 1,500 people will be spectators. The performance will be shown for charity in Russian cities: Murom, Tula, Moscow. After the performance there will be discussions on traditional family values.

Goals

  1. Promoting the strengthening of the institution of family and family values

Tasks

  1. Forming a positive attitude among adolescents and young people towards family values, a constructive attitude towards creating a family and responsible parenting
  2. Promoting the importance of family traditions and values

Justification of social significance

The formation of family values among young people is influenced by many negative factors: the destruction of moral ideas about family and marriage, a shift in the traditional understanding of the role
parenthood, decline in the prestige of motherhood, loss of family traditions. Preparing young people for a family is as important a task as preparing for a profession. activities, adaptation in society.
To create a positive experience in the field of family relations, the efforts of the family are not always enough, so there is a need to educate young people in matters of family life, and to actively participate in this activity of institutions that provide social and educational services. Adolescence is characterized by the formation of a person’s ideological positions and value orientations, including orientation towards a prosperous family and the values of family life. Therefore, it is important to inform young people about the social roles of spouses when creating a family, to form a positive attitude towards the family and ideas about it as a socially significant value. But it is important to do this unobtrusively and in simple, accessible language. Such as the language of theater, for example.
Fiction with religious themes is not uncommon in Western countries. While in Russian art this topic has always been avoided for a number of reasons. We consider this a big omission, because Russian culture as such is inseparable from Orthodoxy.
In the 90s, Russian cinema and theatrical art, having inherited the vast experience of the Soviet period, but lacking the means for a worthy succession, began to look for their own unique path. By the mid-2000s, Russian art had strengthened and stopped copying its Western colleagues. Now is the stage when, with the help of art in Russia, it is possible to shape the worldview of entire generations. The project “Peter + Fevronya” is aimed at creating a unique understanding of Family, Love and Fidelity that is understandable primarily to the Russian audience. The emphasis is on the young viewer, as theater is a form of art that is perceived by young people with special awe and trust. Therefore, our project tries to be as honest as possible with this audience and bring the viewer into dialogue. The project is aimed at solving a social problem in modern society - a frivolous and skeptical attitude towards family values. “Peter + Fevronya” does not impose its vision of the problem, but gives food for thought. After each performance, meetings will be held with young people and discussions on the topic: “What is family, love and fidelity?”

Geography of the project

Moscow, Tula, Murom are the main sites planned for the duration of the project. St. Petersburg, Tver, Sevastopol are the cities in which the performance will be shown on a charitable basis after the end of the project implementation period specified in the project.

Target groups

  1. Children and teenagers
  2. Large families
  3. Youth and students
  4. Orphans and children left without parental care

Introduction It is no secret that in recent years in Ukraine, in the context of ongoing instability in socio-economic and political life, there has been a steady upward trend in the number of orphans and children left without parental care. Moreover, only a small number of these children were left without care as a result of the death of their parents. The rest belong to the phenomenon of so-called “social orphanhood”, that is, they are orphans with living parents, and their number is growing catastrophically. This is caused by the continuing deterioration of the life of the Ukrainian family, its moral principles and, as a consequence, a change in attitude towards children.

The statistics about those who grow up and leave orphanages and boarding schools are disappointing. Every year, tens of thousands of orphans leave orphanages to live independently, and most of them do not adapt well to such a life. The result is unemployment, poverty, crime, becoming alcoholics or drug addicts, and committing suicide. And only 10% manage to adapt to society.

The leading causes of “social orphanhood” are: = 656; deprivation of parental rights (up to 70%); = 656; refusal to raise a child (up to 20%); = 656; stay of parents in prison (up to 10%).

The main objective of state family policy is to form a generation responsible for their health and with the skills of socially and economically responsible behavior that preserves family values, national traditions, history and culture of their homeland.

One of the most pressing problems in the country today is the physical and spiritual health of children and youth. Changing the situation is only possible with the emergence of a generation of young people for whom maintaining health, family, and the birth of healthy children will become the main value in life. In order for healthy children to be born in our country in 5-6 years, work on the formation of value education must be carried out among young people 14-18 years old. Contradictions of a social and pedagogical nature, the lack of modern research in solving the problems of preparing young people for family life force us to copy training programs from foreign pedagogical systems that do not correspond to Ukrainian cultural specifics and social conditions. These contradictions indicate the relevance of the study of the problem under consideration and the need to develop modern programs aimed at developing adequate ideas about family values among boys and girls.

Society is interested in a strong, spiritually and morally healthy family, because the health of the younger generation is the health of the nation.

It is in the family that the foundations of the individual, the citizen, and his moral and value orientations are formed. All the very first and most important things happen to a person in the family: birth, first steps, a sense of security, love and happiness. For every person, family is a necessity, with the help of which he realizes not only biological needs, but primarily spiritual needs, the need for love, care and recognition. In history, family values remain inimitable and unique, irreplaceable by any other values.

Human culture is unthinkable without family, love, children, marital and related relationships. Sociologists state that in modern Ukraine there is a crisis of values, and hence a person’s dependence on the vagaries of the economy appears. Benefit becomes the main driver of the entire society. A growing number of people are trying in every possible way to fill the existing vacuum, to suppress the feeling of the meaninglessness of their own lives, which arises, in particular, due to the erosion of family values.

One of these ways is the desire, at all costs, to increase one’s social status and level of material well-being. A person was faced with the problem of correlating the paths of personal self-realization with family life. Today it is important to understand that in life you can focus on spirituality, morality and love. These guidelines are valuable and, in turn, are brought up in the family and reinforced in society; if not, then spiritual degradation can be predicted.

Humanity is alive only thanks to the family circle, the center of all human relationships. With the destruction of the family comes the destruction of the state. Whether our people preserve family values and family as a value determines whether Ukraine will preserve itself as a country. The family creates human destinies, characters, and in the era of “economic-centrism” and the sexual revolution it should help preserve the best in a person.

The family, on the one hand, is a derivative of the state of society, and on the other, acts as the driving force of its development. The family is the most important social institution for the formation of personality, an institution for the transmission of cultural and moral values. The family issue is of particular importance for young people. Today, the period of tutelage is lengthening, the possibility of independent actions and assessments is narrowing, the orientations of young people are prestige and consumerism, we are seeing information pollution of the “environment”, little awareness during school years, and the absence of a program on the basics of family life. It is very important to protect young people from annoying mistakes, including tragically irreparable ones, to provide assistance in making the right responsible decision, without imposing your thoughts and advice.

How a person solves the problem of marriage and family in his youth largely determines his life path, mental and spiritual state and development. After all, the family is a natural school of love, a school of creative self-sacrifice, social feelings and an altruistic way of thinking. The family is nurtured by the very atmosphere of sincerity, truth, work, discipline, freedom of creativity and love for everything spiritual, i.e. those values that should be passed on from generation to generation.

We need education in love and with love, only then there will be no dysfunctional families, which in turn give rise to a series of unhappy and dysfunctional people. Knowledge acquired through relationships with each other does not automatically lead to wisdom and morality; it requires life experience, reflection and time.

In order to raise a Parent within oneself, it is necessary to form a personality within oneself, to have high spiritual and moral potential, and the need for spiritual self-development, in order to, in turn, convey one’s love to the child. We emphasize the importance of such values as love, chastity, fidelity. These values must first of all be conveyed to the consciousness of teenagers and young people so that they understand: a person cannot live according to the law of instinct.

Today, all efforts must be directed towards preserving the family, and teaching young people what a family is. The family, according to scientists, is one of the greatest values created by humanity in the entire history of its existence. Family values are determined by the uniqueness and social significance of the family. Relationships between spouses, children and parents have changed rapidly over the past decades, and the emotional and psychological side of family and marital relations has become increasingly valuable. This significantly complicated family life, as it sharply increased the level of expectations in relation to family life, which many spouses are not able to realize due to the cultural traditions of society and the individual characteristics of the spouses themselves.

The value and semantic orientations of an individual are formed and developed in the process of socialization. At different stages of socialization, their development is ambiguous and is determined by factors of family and institutionalized upbringing and training, professional activity, and socio-historical conditions.

Based on the considered concept of family and relying on the theoretical justification of the concept of value, we can identify the basic values of the family: values associated with self-affirmation of the individual among the immediate environment; values that satisfy the need for fatherhood and motherhood; values associated with satisfying the need for love and recognition; values that satisfy physiological needs (sexually intimate relationships between spouses); values that allow you to feel relative stability and security; values that satisfy the need for communication and expand its circle; values that make it possible to satisfy pragmatic needs.

After conducting a qualitative analysis of values, it is necessary to emphasize their humanistic essence. It is the humanistic ideal - man as the highest value - that determines the meaning and purpose of family life, and its values reflect the recognition of humanistic universal ideals (goodness, justice, mutual assistance, mercy, etc.).

In family and marriage, orientation towards a person as the highest value can be realized in the development of various personal meanings associated with the idea of serving another person, with the self-realization of a person as an individual in interaction with other people.

Awareness of values gives rise to value ideas, and on the basis of value ideas, value orientations are created, which, in turn, represent a conscious part of the system of personal meanings.

The task of preparing boys and girls for family relationships is to help them understand these values and form personal motivation for family behavior. Thus, for the further development of the modern family as a value-based social institution, its stability and well-being, it is necessary to systematically and purposefully pedagogically influence the value content of older students’ ideas about family and thereby form a general readiness for family life. 1. 2. Analysis of the activities of social shelters as institutions for the socialization of youth. In Ukraine, government bodies have begun to pay more attention to the social problems of childhood and the protection of children's rights at both the political and legislative levels.

The Government of Ukraine continues to take measures aimed at bringing domestic legislation and practice into conformity with the principles and provisions of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

In Ukraine, the following international documents in the field of protecting children's rights have entered into force and become part of national legislation: - Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1125: On the formation of the State Social Service for Families, Children and Youth (2007); - Law of Ukraine “On social work with children and youth” (2001); - Law of Ukraine “On Child Protection” (2001); - Law of Ukraine “On promoting the social formation and development of youth in Ukraine” (1993); - European Convention on the Exercise of Children’s Rights (date of signature on behalf of Ukraine on 05/15/2003, date of ratification on 08/03/2006 (with a statement ); - Convention on Contact with Children (date of signature on behalf of Ukraine on 15.05.2003, date of ratification on 20.09.2006 (with application); - Convention on jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition, implementation and cooperation regarding parental responsibility and child protection measures (date of accession 09/14/2006 with application and reservations); - Law of Ukraine “On ensuring organizational and legal conditions for the social protection of orphans and children deprived of parental care” (2005); - Law of Ukraine “On Housing social purpose fund" (2006).

These documents confirm the desire and readiness of Ukraine to intensify work aimed at improving the situation of children and provide for an integrated approach to the implementation of the child’s rights to health, education, social protection, cultural and spiritual development, participation in society, protection of children from abuse and improvement control and monitoring systems for the situation of children in Ukraine.

Violation of the rights of children who live or work on the streets is still an acute problem for the country.

Although, in recent years, preventive work with children who find themselves in crisis situations and their parents has increased, and the quality of services provided to them has improved, many street children continue to face various forms of physical and mental violence, and lack of care.

These children have limited access to adequate educational, health and social services and effective legal protection mechanisms.

Despite the strengthening of state control over compliance with the property and housing rights of children, there are still cases of violation of these rights. One of the means of protecting the rights of children who find themselves in difficult life circumstances is the conduct of general preventive raids “Station”, “Street”, “Teenager”, “Lesson” and the like by children’s services and educational authorities and the Criminal Police for children’s affairs. .

Children identified during raids are provided with social, medical and legal assistance, they are placed in social institutions for children, and they are helped to resume their studies. In Ukraine, there is a gradual expansion of the network of social service institutions that provide targeted and long-term provision of social services. Among them (as of the end of 2006) are 95 shelters for children, 28 centers for socio-psychological rehabilitation of children, 22 centers for socio-psychological assistance, 9 social hostels, 7 social centers for mothers and children, 529 mobile consultation points for social work in rural and mountainous areas, remote areas, 682 family social support services and the like.

Anyone who has had to communicate with orphans knows that the biggest dream of such children is a family. Every person dreams of living in a family, having their own loved ones.

While children are small, they sincerely believe that their parents are simply lost and will soon be found, but time passes and the children understand that they will not be found, and they will not be found. After leaving a boarding school, graduating from a vocational school, or leaving prison, many of them find themselves practically on the street. After all, a graduate of a lyceum or technical school has little chance of finding a high-paying job so that he can rent an apartment. To solve this problem, social hostels were opened in our state for orphans and children deprived of parental care, as well as individuals from among orphans and children deprived of parental care.

One of these hostels was created in the Kharkov region, in the city of Chuguev, and has been successfully operating since February 2008. This social hostel is an institution for the temporary residence of orphans and children deprived of parental care from 15 to 18 years old, as well as individuals from among orphans and children deprived of parental care from 18 to 23 years old. Institutions for orphans and children without parental care are educational institutions in which orphans and children without parental care are kept (trained, educated); social service institutions (orphanages for disabled children with mental retardation and physical disabilities, social rehabilitation centers for children without parental care, social shelters); health care institutions (orphanages) and other institutions created in accordance with the procedure established by law. The social hostel provides residents with free accommodation in comfortable conditions.

At their disposal are rooms for two with furniture and bedding, a kitchen, dishes, a refrigerator, an automatic washing machine, a vacuum cleaner, and a shower.

The most important task for hostel workers is the social adaptation of residents. The life competence that children receive in boarding schools is not enough for life in society. High efficiency of work will be achieved if it covers all aspects of the life of the wards, including their life, leisure, and social connections.

One of the conditions for the effective life and further functioning of young people in society is the formation of family values. 2. Diagnostics of youth in a social shelter in order to identify family values In the modern period, in Ukrainian society there is a change in social and spiritual values, the mental foundations of people’s life.

Profound changes in sociocultural reality are reflected in the transformation of the modern Ukrainian family and in family values. In traditional culture, family values include the trinity of parenthood, kinship and marriage. Of central importance in family values are orientations towards parenthood - towards accepting the social roles of mother and father, towards the birth of children. The modern family tends to have few children and a decrease in the value of the family.

In society, the process of intergenerational transmission of cultural experience in the form of traditions and customs is weakening, due to the strengthening of the position of the nuclear family and the loss of the importance of family ties. The trend towards a reduction in the marriage rate is increasing, the number of divorces and single-parent families is growing, which leads to negative demographic and social consequences. All this indicates that there is a transformation of the family, implying in the future a family built on other foundations and giving rise to new ideological attitudes.

It is unthinkable to talk about reviving the institution of the family without preparing young people for marriage. In order for young people to harmoniously build their relationships in a future marriage, they need to know the features of communication and interpersonal relationships in a modern family. The openness of the family, its focus on the past and future, creates a real basis for the transition to a new society that needs a strong family mechanism.

At a turning point in the development of Ukrainian society, when life is extremely complex and dynamic, it is important to record and understand the values that guide young people and which largely determine the everyday consciousness and everyday ideas about the present and future of the generations entering life. Purpose of the study: To identify the basic family values of modern youth in a social shelter. In the course of the work, the following tasks were identified: 1. Find out what place the family ranks among other values among young people; 2. Find out what meaning young people attach to the concept of “family”; 3. Find out what values of family life (traditions, children, love, support) are most important for young people; 4. Find out how many children young people want to have (if at all) and what parenting style they are likely to choose; 5. Find out which type of family is closer to young people (patriarchal family, matriarchal, partner).

The object of the study is young people living in a social hostel in the city of Chuguva.

The subject of the study is family values. Youth is a socio-demographic group that is distinguished on the basis of a combination of age characteristics, characteristics of social status and has age limits from 14 - 16 to 29 years. A family is a community of people based on a single economic activity, connected by the ties of marriage, parenthood, kinship, and thereby carrying out the reproduction of the population and the continuity of family generations, as well as the socialization of children and the maintenance of the existence of family members.

Family values are positive and negative indicators of the significance of objects related to a community of people based on a single joint activity, connected by the ties of marriage, parenthood, kinship, in connection with the involvement of these objects in the sphere of human life, human interests, needs, and social relationships.

Research hypotheses: 1. Many young people want to live in an unregistered marriage, but plan to get married in the future; 2. Family, as a value, is not in the first place among young people; 3. Young people do not have a clear concept of family; 4. Love and children in the structure of family values are of paramount importance, but material security and stability are also of great importance; 5. Young people mostly want to have 1-2 children; 6. There is a tendency towards nuclearization; married young people want to live separately from their parents.

To conduct the study, a questionnaire of 15 questions was compiled.

The sequence of questions was drawn up taking into account the classification of family values: first in the questionnaire there are questions related to marriage, then to parenthood and kinship (Appendix 1).

2.1. Analysis of family values of youth and development of values 15 young girls and boys aged from 17 to 23 years took part in the study. Of these, 46% were boys and 54% were girls. Among them, 70% have no family or relatives, 26% have relatives. Distribution of young people's desire to enter into official marriage by gender, % Answer options Female Male Total Yes, definitely 52 34 45 Yes, most likely 36 37 36 Difficult to answer 8 17 12 No, most likely 4 3 4 No, definitely 0 9 4 Total 100 100 100 Almost half of respondents (45%) definitely intend to get married in the future.

Basically, the positive answer predominates, and it is higher among girls. It is also worth noting that 9% of male respondents do not intend to get married at all, and among girls, no one chose this answer option.

Thus, the hypothesis that young people plan to officially register their relationships in the future was confirmed. Indeed, young people are more focused not just on cohabitation, but on official marriage. The next objective of the study was to find out the optimal age for marriage for men and women. Fig. 1 Optimal age for starting a family (for men) For a man, the most suitable age for starting a family is from 26 to 30 years. In second place from 21 to 25 years old. Rice. 2 Optimal age for starting a family (for women) The vast majority of respondents (71%) indicated the optimal age for marriage for women is from 21 to 25 years. Not a single respondent noted the answer option “Over 30 years” for women.

Probably, the differences in age are due to the fact that a man must have time to “get on his feet” during this time, acquire a job and housing in order to provide for his family.

Also, during the study, it was necessary to find out what place the family ranks among other values among students. To do this, respondents were asked to rank a list of basic life values. The most important thing in life Gender Answer options Male Female Total Love 3.3 2.4 2.8 Education 3.1 4.4 3.9 Children 3.6 4.7 4.2 Family 5.5 6.2 5.9 Work 3.8 4.9 4.4 Creativity 4.5 6.3 5.5 Health 3.8 3.3 3.5 Respect for others 2.3 3.2 2.8 This table shows that love and respect for youth comes first.

The family is far from the first position. The next task set during the study was to find out what meaning students put into the word “family.” The meaning of the word “Family”, the number of choices What kind of family did you grow up in? Answer options Have relatives Without a family Total Family is a Union of 2 people who love and respect each other 20 7 27 Parents and their children 6 2 8 Personal space of a person, where he is supported and loved 2 5 7 Mutual understanding, common interests and lifestyle, comfort 3 2 5 A unit of society in which the rights and obligations of spouses are equal 11 8 19 Strong trusting relationships 1 0 1 The basis of society 1 0 1 People of different generations connected by blood and spiritual kinship 6 1 7 Responsibility and care for each other, children 2 1 3 Mine relatives of each person 2 1 3 Difficult to answer 14 3 17 A small social group that has historically defined org-ey 2 1 3 Loving team 1 1 2 From this table we can conclude that the majority of respondents know what a family is.

But young people have very different ideas about family.

The majority (31%) believe that a family is “a union of two people who love and respect each other,” that is, young people associate family more with marriage than with children; 21% of respondents define a family as “a unit of society in which rights and the responsibilities of the spouses are equal,” in third place (19%) is “Difficult to answer.” The respondents also gave the following definitions of family: “parents and their children,” this option was chosen by only 9% of the children surveyed, “a person’s personal space, where he is supported and loved,” only 8% of respondents wrote that a family is “people of different generations, connected by blood and spiritual kinship,” this suggests that the continuity of generations among family values is far from being in the first place among young people, and there is a tendency towards nuclearization.

At the same time, respondents who have at least one relative better understand the meaning of the word “family”; they gave more answers to this question than those who grew up without parents. 2.2. Implementation of a social and pedagogical program for the formation of family values among young people in social shelters.

After the study, a socio-pedagogical program for the formation of family values was developed. No. Type of lesson Form and methods of delivery Additional. means Date of conduct Specialist Family block 1 Family and its functions Conversation-discussion, questioning, lectures Conducting role-playing games, debate, June Social teacher 2 Ethics of communication in the family Lecture Training exercises June Social teacher Medical-hygienic block 3 Anatomy and physiology of sex (separately for boys and girls) Lecture, exercises Schemes, posters, cards with names, diagrams July Medical worker 4 Problems of a healthy lifestyle: prevention of venous diseases and HIV infections; contraception; abortion Lecture, exercises Visual aids, diagrams, posters, medical. Tools, videos, games July Medical worker 5 Intimacy as a moral concept.

Features of the sexual desire of a boy and a girl Conversation July Social teacher 6 Raising children as the revelation of one's own personal potential Lecture July Social teacher Economic block 7 Fundamentals of budgeting, family saving mode Lecture, exercise August Social teacher 8 Budget planning Role play August Social teacher 9 Final lesson Discussion , summing up August Social teacher 9 lessons were held on the topic of family, family values, rules of behavior in the family and interpersonal relationships, rules of hygiene and contraception, planning and maintaining a family budget.

At the beginning of the classes, young people were reluctant to accept the information; many could not formulate what a family is and its role in society, what values are considered important in the family and society.

During the process, the children actively discussed the lectures they had listened to and willingly took part in role-playing games and trainings. 2.3. Repeated diagnostics of youth for the formation of family values After the introduction of a socio-pedagogical program for the formation of family values of youth in social shelters, repeated testing of the children was carried out.

The results were greatly encouraging. Gender Answer options Male Female Total Love 2.3 3.2 2.8 Education 3.1 4.4 3.9 Children 3.6 4.7 4.2 Family 3.3 2.4 2.8 Work 3.8 4.9 4.4 Creativity 4.5 6.3 5.5 Health 3.8 3.3 3.5 Respect for others 5.5 6.2 5.9 After listening to the lectures, the boys and girls understood and rethought the system of family values, changed the owl's opinion about the family and its role in the life of a person and society.

Now, according to the test results, the leading positions in the minds of young people are taken by Love and Family. Based on this, we can conclude that the program for the formation of family values was developed and implemented successfully. Conclusions Historically, the family in its essence has been and remains the initial structural unit of society and at the same time a traditionally leading socio-cultural institution, a group of children and adults, a natural environment for their spiritual development.

The initial foundations of human development are laid in the family. Here the mental, physical abilities, moral and aesthetic qualities of children begin to develop for the first time. However, in modern conditions, the family education system is undergoing significant changes. In this regard, the priority direction of state family policy should be not only measures to strengthen the financial and living situation of the family, but also a system of specific actions for the socio-cultural and psychological rehabilitation of families who, for various reasons, are in difficult, sometimes extreme situations.

A child raised in a family finds himself in a less stringent situation of demands and control, has the opportunity to participate in a variety of complex adult activities (repairing a TV with his father, cooking dinner with his mother), learns to perform not only individual operations, but also masters quite complex planning programs, organization and control of its activities.

In the family, the assimilation of complex elements of activity, the development of internal planning of actions does not occur in a situation of special training, but natural inclusion in the context of activities that are attractive to the child, which helps to assimilate family and social values without much difficulty. What is given to a child in a family spontaneously, without the special efforts of parents, an orphanage pupil and young people living in social shelters can receive only at the cost of enormous targeted social and pedagogical work of the team.

The results of the socio-pedagogical program can be used in the work of a social teacher in a social shelter. Based on the results of the work, recommendations were given for organizing work with pupils of the social hostel in Chuguev in order to increase the level of formation of family and social values.
