As you guessed, we will talk about calendars. What do you think a calendar is? And what kind of calendars are there? And when did the first calendars appear?

(children's answers).

Calendar (timekeeping system) is a very ancient invention of mankind. It reflects the cycle of natural phenomena associated with the movement of heavenly bodies - the Sun, Moon, Stars.

In Dahl's dictionary -calendar - a list of all the days of the year, with indications of other related information, months.

Calendars were created at all times in different parts of the Earth, because the need to measure time arose among all peoples as soon as the periodicity of natural phenomena was realized. The ancient Egyptians were the first to determine the length of the year by observing the flooding of the Nile.

The Slavs, using their knowledge of nature and agricultural experience established over centuries, created their own month book. This is a kind of diary and encyclopedia of peasant life with its holidays and everyday life.

So the first calendars looked like this:

Nowadays, calendars look different. In our homeland, the first calendar was made back in 1581. Now modern man can hardly imagine himself without a calendar. Calendars surround us everywhere - at work, at home. They are even found in all mobile phones. The calendar dates and distributes not only our fleeting time, but also our lives.

And we have religious calendars (Orthodox and Muslim), folk and civil, therefore we have religious, folk and civil holidays. All these holidays are intertwined in our lives. Who can name any holiday? (children's answers).

All the holidays are intertwined in our game, which is called"Flipping through the calendar."

A GAME.

Rules of the game: The game involves two teams. Players are presented with a digital field consisting of separated squares. On back side The name of the month is hidden in each square. When choosing a number, open the name of the month.

For the winter month the team receives a snowflake, for the spring month - a green leaf, for the summer month - a flower, for the autumn month - an apple. If a team scores three identical symbols, it receives an additional similar symbol. The team that scores the most characters wins.

Even many of those who are not directly involved in the construction business have worked on construction sites - geologists who examined soils, design engineers who designed the interior of a house, welders who worked on pipelines, electricians who laid wiring. Therefore, many people in our country celebrate Builder’s Day with great pleasure. Selecting gifts and organizing a celebration for a highly professional holiday is a difficult task. - Indeed, it’s not evening yet. It's only begining!
- Which means...

SCENARIO OF AN ENTERTAINMENT EVENT

"CALENDAR"

Goal: develop cognitive activity students.

Objectives: expand your horizons.

Progress of the event

Hello. Today I congratulate you on...

(Names the date of the program.)

Yes, yes, don't be surprised. After all, today is a special day. Such a day has never happened and will never happen again, because... (names the date) happens once a year. Let's try on this unusual, special day... (Names the date) to arrange for ourselves small holiday. And an ordinary one will help us with this... However, guess for yourself what we are talking about.

When he came to your house,

He was a funny fat guy.

But every day he lost weight

And finally he disappeared completely.

Children (Calendar.)

The calendar happens different types. Which ones do you know and can name?

Children can list (pocket, tear-off, wall, table, report card, lunar, gardener, women's, school, family, youth, decorative, built into the clock.)

Well done! Do you know that the names of many months of the year in the calendar came to us from the ancient Greek calendar. At first this calendar was very different from ours. The ancient Romans had 355 days in a year. The High Priest of Rome had the right to lengthen or shorten the year as he pleased. Therefore, no one knew in advance when the New Year would come. The name of the month “January” comes from the name of the ancient Roman god Janus. Janus was the god of time, as well as all beginnings and changes. And the solar calendar, which is in force today in almost all countries of the world, was introduced by the Roman emperor Julius Caesar. The year there lasted 365 days. But according to astronomers’ calculations, it turned out that the earth goes around the sun in 365 days and a quarter. Therefore, they decided that three years will have 365 days, and every fourth year will have 366 days; we also call it a leap year. An “extra” day was added to the shortest month - February.

Guys, now I suggest you play the game “Let’s remember!”:

The shortest month of the year.

(they offer their options. Most often they name February).

The shortest month is May: the name of this month has only three letters.

What was the name of Robinson Crusoe's friend?

(Answer: Friday.)

Which tale by Samuil Marshak is the calendar related to?

(Answer: “Twelve months.”)

- “A long time ago, it seems, last Friday...” - these are the words that the well-known cartoon begins. What is it called?

(Answer: “Vinnie - Pooh and weight, everything, everything...”)

What day of the week is considered “hard”?

(Answer: Monday.)

On what day, after the rain, do dreams come true?

(Answer: Thursday.)

On what day of the week can you see the “Best of All” program on TV?

(Answer: Sunday.)

And now I ask all of you to be extremely attentive: I will list the days of the week, and you, if it is the weekend, clap your hands loudly. Try not to make a mistake.

(The presenter names the days of the week, and not in order, so that

confuse the guys.)

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday, Thursday, Saturday, Friday, Tuesday, Sunday, Thursday, Wednesday...

You did a great job with this game. Each of you knows that not only weekends, but also holidays are marked in red on the calendar. Now I will name the number, and you try to say what holiday is celebrated on this day.

Eighth of March...(International Women's Day).

The first of January...(New Year.)

Ninth of May...

(Victory Day).

First of September...

(Knowledge Day).

Everything is exactly right! And there are also holidays that are celebrated by people of one profession or another, they are called that way: professional. Teachers celebrate it in October, military personnel in February, railway workers in August, border guards in May, artists in March, and police officers in November. Do you know what other professional holidays there are and when they are celebrated?

(The guys say their options.)

Let's try to guess the profession based on its characteristics. Who owns:

green profession (gardener, forester)

the sweetest (beekeeper, pastry chef, taster, cook)

the hairiest (hairdresser)

the most children's room (teacher, assistant teacher)

the most responsible (judge, prosecutor, surgeon)

the funniest (clown)

the smartest (scientist, professor)

the whitest (doctor)

the most toothy (dentist)

the most well-read (librarian)

the most demanding (trainer)

the highest (high-altitude erector)

the most technical (design engineer)

the bravest (policeman).

The most creative and interesting profession is a theater and film actor. To become an actor, you need to develop the following abilities and qualities: attention, imagination, a sense of faith and truth, memory, the ability to speak loudly and clearly. I suggest you play a small miniature, I need characters: (roles are given to children)

Ring: “Ding-ding.”

Class: "Oh"!

Teacher: “Hello, children!”

Knowledge: “Well, take us!”

Pointer: “Silence!”

Horror: “Ha ha ha.”

Control: “Let’s check now.”

I will ask the participants to come to me, and so we begin our presentation:

The bell rang. The class has not yet tuned in educational process, since as soon as the holidays and knowledge ended, everything was forgotten. But the teacher decided to give this class a test. The teacher armed himself with a pointer. The class, seeing the test assignments, was numb with horror. The teacher tapped his pointer on the desk. This made the horror in the class even stronger. The class tried to find knowledge in textbooks hidden under the desk. But the stern teacher did not allow the class to cheat. The bell rang. The teacher with a pointer walked importantly out of the classroom. Frivolous knowledge went out the window.

Each of us has a day of the year when it is also considered a holiday. It's a birthday.)...

That's right, birthday. Or maybe there is a person among you whose birthday or name day (angel day) is today?

(If there is such a person, the presenter congratulates him and gives

calendar.)

And now I ask those who were born in the autumn and winter months of the calendar to raise their hands, and now give a friendly clap. Now I ask those who were born in spring and summer to raise their hands and clap their hands together.

I ask them to take the sheets of the desk calendar from me and distribute them to all the participants in our meeting.

(The guys are handing out sheets of a desk calendar

Each of you has one calendar sheet. Look at it carefully and, as soon as the music starts, try to gather yourself according to the seasons.

(An instrumental melody plays, chosen at the discretion of

presenter The guys are doing the task.)

Great! Those who hold in their hands gathered quickly...

(Names the time of year.)

Calendar sheets.

Now I ask you to gather according to the days of the week: Mondays in one company, Tuesdays in another, and so on.

(Music sounds. The guys continue the game.)

Next task: get together by month.

(Boys and girls complete this task. Music plays in the background.)

The guys holding calendar sheets with a month in their hands turned out to be quicker...

(Calls.)

And at the end of this game, I ask you all to stand in order of the numbers in the month - from the first to the thirty-first.

(The guys line up in one line.)

I give pocket calendars to all participants in our program, may every day of this year and all subsequent years be bright and joyful for you.

(The teacher hands the guys pocket calendars and takes them from them

sheets of desk calendar.)

May this day of the calendar

You will all be remembered, friends.

My speech will be short:

Happy everyone, see you again!
